0:22 That sprinkler was so excited to pop out and save the day! It's like having a little fire hose in the ceiling. Everyone should have one in their home.
I do like how we got shown the severity of the damage in great detail at the end though 👏🏻 so many demos don't do that and it's frustrating because that's the whole point of it.... To show just how much damage can be done in so little time! 🔥🚒
Legacy furnishings, synchronized home alarm systems where all the alarms go off if one does and home sprinkler systems are the things everyone should have in their home. Even one of three significantly is better than none. Just having legacy furnishing's, turned my house fire into a small one, limited to one room, vs a major one that would have likely done significant structural damage according to the fire chief.
I already told my wife when we buy a house this is one of the first things I'm having installed. They don't cost that much, like $1.50 a square foot. There's no good reason to NOT get it. Plus carbon monoxide detectors. smoke alarms, security system, Ring, Blink, or Simplisafe or a combination that makes sense, security film on the windows, motion lights and dusk till dawn lights, and a large dog bow at the back door, no dog required, just the illusion of a big dog freaks people out.

Story:in 1856 a fire started in 702 north west street.the fire started by super bad light!!! The fire fighters had to come put the fire out.now the house went in the forest in 1923 because of a hurricane! Now it was a abandoned house.
Kinda freaky I almost had a fire happen when I was in the shower I had no sprinklers and I was clear in the back of the house My cats knocked the lamp onto the couch and it was on high the bulb didn’t break and it was directly on it and luckily I had come out just in time before it went upon flames it left a nice sized hole in the arm and it was millimeters away from the wooden couch frame if I was only a couple minutes longer in the shower the couch would of been in flames
Very poor demo. One sprinkler head is not enough in this room. A second sprinkler would put the fire out before the fire department got their truck out of the firehouse. Of course, they still need to make sure it is safe. Sprinklers usually will do less water damage than a two or three-inch fire hose full blast. Firemans' lives matter too. A four-minute response is pretty good. Time four minutes and see how long that is when you need to urinate right now.
Either way, everything you own is gone. You just survived the first one. Water is just as damaging as fire. Halon is a better option but extremely expensive.
And there is a little piece of spring steel in between the 2 parts. If the colored part of the plate is painted, mudded, caulked to the cieling ,the head will not activate properly. It may cost seconds. It may cost minutes. It may activate with the plate on and do no good whatsoever
@@maksimpirogs7794 Yes. My point was, a fire alarm dosnt trigger any kind of suppressor system. It only makes a noise when smoke or heat is detected. A sprinkler will put the fire out but they are two different things.
@@maksimpirogs7794 . You do not understand English well enough. A sprinkler is not a smoke alarm. Smoke alarms detect Smoke (not fire) and emit a loud sound to alert anyone in the proximity of it. Once the alarm sounds you have to recognize the noise which takes a bit of time. Even more time, if you and your family are sleeping. Then you have to get everyone outside. Then someone has to call the fire dept. Then you wait until they arrive and set up. All this takes time and meanwhile, the fire is burning. A few sprinklers will be putting out the fire quickly and maybe before the firemen arrive. Whatever damage they do to your possessions it will be significantly less than if it burns while the firemen are in transit to your house.
There would be obvious signs that there was a fire so they would know it was the sprinkler but I see your point, also it's possible a kid would be blamed for doing something stupid that caused the fire kids are easy to blame.
Smoke alarms only 13 gallon water Per mintues per fire sprinkler damaged with vs without fire burn My childhood 250 gallon water per mintues per fire hose
Even still it should be up to the home owner to do this and not a requirement. Have incentives to make it cheaper and home owners will gladly do this without government breathing down their neck.
Whenever I see videos like this, I'm always surprised at how quickly smoke can fill a room to where nothing can be seen.

Fire sprinkler systems should be required by law in all new homes.

R.I.P smoke alarm
Yes it is a good idea to have a sprinkler system in your house but it also a bad idea because you can start a electrical fire
So what's the thing caller shen thr kid popped off then the sprinkler came out
Fire is actually you have to stay out in this home
Why did the smoke alarm stop at 2:28
It probably burned or melted due to heat
How do fire sprinklers with a cover work
Concealed sprinklers have a cover plate that will drop down at approximately 135 degrees. The sprinkler will activate at approximately 165 degrees F.
The cover plates have a solder on it. It melts once the temperature rating is reached. And pops of
And there is a little piece of spring steel in between the 2 parts. If the colored part of the plate is painted, mudded, caulked to the cieling ,the head will not activate properly. It may cost seconds. It may cost minutes. It may activate with the plate on and do no good whatsoever
But also you should have that alarm to put the fire out
Does a fire alarm put out a fire or does it alert you of a fire?
Donald Welborn Clearly it alerts the fire that the fire should put itself out
But I meant the one that alarm that has water to clear it when it hears fire

What if it’s an electrical fire?
From my understanding, if there's an electrical fire then your house is basically done for no matter what.

Water damage
yeah water damage big deal buy a new tv and sofa.... but at least you dont have to buy a new house ?
There is more water damage from the fire department than from a fire sprinkler.
I’d take the water damage any day...especially since my phone is water proof 🤠
Water damage is easier to replace than a gutted house.
