They should have just let the room burn up if nothing was really going to be saved unless there was danger of the fire spreading to other parts of the facility.
This is for the purpose of investigating how a fire spreads from the point of origin. You can read a room by looking carefully at the amount of damage and degree of burning. It determines if this was accidental or arson. Back in my volunteer days, when I was young, I helped fire Marshall's investigate fires.
I think when there is a fireproof glass on the frontside from the room + - 1 meter upside that it is not possible for the hot smoke to escape, and the situation is going more real, i mean that the flashover is coming faster: so more real.
It wasn’t fast, look at the timer closer and you’ll see they’re moving it forward. Living room/bedroom fires burn way faster and are more deadly than this due to the materials involved. No one would get injured here assuming there is a working smoke alarm and not an entire family sleeping etc. Enough time to extinguish with a fire extinguisher or call the fire dept without too much damage.
@@boeing737700 I think he was referring to four walls because this only has three in one big empty wall allowing a lot more oxygen and 😊air to feed the fire
+Andrew Richardson thank you for your questions, the fire here was started by rigging an electrical fault in the toaster (a common cause of fires in this instance) and then it is left to spread naturally with no use of fans. This is a demonstration fire and so the 4th wall has been removed so that the audience can watch in safety.
Oh noooooooo!!!!!! Quick!!!! Save the Honey Hoops!!! Oh, goodie! The Honey Hoops made it through! (What the hell are Honey Hoops anyway? Some kind of Cheerios knockoff?). Cool video! Hope a lot of people learned from it!
Falling into the old, old trap of assuming that the entire audience knows what the abbreviation 'BRE' stands for. For clarity don't use abbreviations without explanation or jargon.
The place where a fire starts is called the seat.
The worst part is that the cereal didn’t survive
RIP Honey Hoops
7:11 the tree has no leaves
I like my toast black... but I do go through a lot of kitchens
Beautiful Fire 🔥🔥🔥
Who leaves their toast to cook on top of the freezer anyway?
You'd be surprised!

Ronald Robertson Good point, I forgot about that.

Is it just me or would the fire not get that big that fast if there were 4 walls?

I think the fire would burn more slowly, although the smoke would build up in the room more quickly.
Why is the bar at the bottom of the video yellow? Is it to show the video is promoting safety or training purposes?
Dude what the heck are honey hoops
They had to create a fake brand so they don't get sued.
would be a better test with 4.walls
Andrew Richardson well then they couldn't film this at a safe distance
Well, yes, but the missing wall means that the fire has a much larger supply of oxygen at its disposal than it would have in a closed room.
what triggers the toaster to be in open flame state?
Nonoy Fire rigged electrical fault
cool
Nooo not the honey loops
Fire!!!!
how did they start the fire
Elecrical fil with the toaster
The Honey Hoops ????????
