      I need this exact same thing done to my home. Mune is only 14 yrs old. The manufacturer sentva crew out when it was new because hot water line was going to the toilet in master bedroom. They cut the plastic under the home and it's been a nightmare ever since. Since I paid cash for the home and didn't finance this company took advantage of me being a single woman at the time. I'm in Alabama are you?

    • @williecunningham3725
      @williecunningham3725 9 месяцев назад +3

      I worked in a lot of mobile homes and that smell might be from old carpets in the home that got messed up over the years! When you change your furnace filter, place one of those gel scented boards (located near the filters at the store), and any scent you want will come from your vents all over the home from the air conditioner. I always used them during air conditioning months, never tried one in the winter.

      So as long as you don't disturb it too much you should be ok. But better to replace it when you have a chance. Especially in the house with the shut off valves. Not good to have a valve break off when you need to shut off the water! Or safely shut off the toilet supply line only to have the valve break off when you put a wrench on the supply line. Of course to be safe, you can simply shut off water to the whole house when working on fixtures.

    It's good to remove the nasty stuff, but whatever you will put back better have some good way to keep rodents out. As you can see the plastic has holes in it, rodents will easily dig thru. You'd need some sort of chicken wire to really keep them out. That OR make sure the skirting is 100% mouse proof so they can't get under the home.
