Definitely, I don't spend big money on spinning reels because I only use it for finesse light rigs, I want to know what the advantages are to spending on a high end spinning reel

I got the black max bait cast and rod combo and I love it. I’ve had it for 11 months now and it’s still working good after so so so much use. I even took it salt water fishing in the Florida keys and it still did out an standing job. Once I came back I just sprayed the rod and real with fresh water, wiped it down and it still looks good. No rust or anything!!!
The black max is okay and you can actually upgrade the bearings and spool pretty cheap with eBay parts. I put a decent drag, bearings and lightweight spool on one for like $35-$40 and the a few extra magnets for the brakes from a junk reel and it is pretty decent for light weight lures now.
I have the Black Max and love it. For a mid/low range reel its not bad at all,Ive pulled in many 2-4 pounders and still going strong.I also have an older shakespeare baitcaster that isnt too bad,just feels cheap.
I have the shakesphere reel and it works anazing after many months of inporper use. Ive left ut in rain and everything and its perfect. It is an amazing reel to be honest
I have the agility and my only complaints is it doesn't cast as far as some of my better reels and if you palm the reel too tightly then it effects your speed in which it retrieves. Otherwise it's not a bad reel for beginner's!
the highest rated reels that i have ever used (i have only ever used push buttons or spinners) for spinner its my old Garcia Michal 300 made in like the 60's its built like a tank. as far as push buttons an old Zeb 33 is perfect choice. you can often find both cheap at yard sales and such

I have a Shakespeare Ability and An Abu-Garcia Black Max, I use both regularly and have not had any major problems with either of them.
