  • In my attempts to be a good moto vlogger in the Philippines I thought I'd take you out on my 2023 Kawasaki Z900 for a ride around my local area in Cebu province. This is one of my favourite bikes and one that I'll be doing a lot more motovlogging on this year especially after it has had its first service. A lot of the time I just like to go out on rides to clear my head and so from now on I'll take my camera with me and moto vlog them on my Kawasaki Z900, Ninja 650, CRF 300L or Africa Twin so stay tuned to see more rides and more bikes.

    best value middleweight naked imo.

I agree, it’s not much more than the Ninja 650 here but a big upgrade. Had the KTM Duke 790 and 890R before but I think I even prefer the Z900 over the 890R. Maybe not quite as cutting edge performance wise but sounds way better and much more pleasant to ride.

Really nice bike. I enjoy re-visiting this ride as you make it seem really effortless and super smooth. Thank you.

Awesome. I had one too. How did you find it. I always found my legs a bit cramped on it. Good bike though.

@@TripleB6036 I’m only 5”8 so fine for me. The z650 was great but it was my first bike and soon wanted something else. Now have a Ducati scrambler nightshift.

Now that looks to be a fun bike indeed! I love the sound of the four as well

Thanks for commenting Ted. It really is. I’d put it right up there with my favourite bikes ever. I just feel it needs a new can to really bring the sound of that engine to life.

Have a '22 black and blue Z900. Have a Z900RS as well. The Z is my favorite of the two. So smooth and torquey. Tranny is smoother and brakes as well, even with axial calipers. For a close to liter bike with 36mm throttle bodes, the Z pulls hard and still gets close to 50mpg. Have no complaints, except two up isn't so great. Had an MT09 and don't miss it. Excellent video.

That’s good to hear. It’s such an easy bike to ride. Let’s you go hard when you want but just as happy cruising. Definitely smooth.
I haven’t rode the MT09 but from what I hear it’s a bit more of a hooligan, I expect the powerband is more like the KTM Duke 790/890 and comes on fast but nowhere near as smooth as the Z900.

Hi. Glad to see you back settled in the Philippines and vlogging again. You seem to have found the special button on the Kawasaki to remove most of the traffic from the road (or maybe you've moved somewhere quieter?) I believe that in a few of the Gr eek islands, that vehicle plates may take up to 6 months to appear, so vehicles drive around without them (including hire vehicles).

Thanks, I’ve just taken a bit of enforced break since making the last videos. I should be back with more content soon.
Still the same place so it must have just been my lucky day.
Im pretty sure half the vehicles here do the same.

Awesome ride sir. It so happen we're living at the same area.
I'd love to rev it a little bit 😅

That’s cool. Thanks for watching. My Z900 needs the first service and a louder exhaust and then it will be ready to be revved properly 😁

What gear do you wear in the Philippines? I’m out there again next year . No hens on the road! Wow! 😂

    • @TripleB6036
      @TripleB6036  Год назад +2

Good question. I suffer the heat and wear Alpinestars T-GP Air jacket with back protector in, Alpinestars SMX air gloves, Alpinestars SMX6 boots , jeans with knee and shin guards over the top. Helmet is currently an HJC RPHA 70. I’ve seen road rash and multiple fatalities on the roads here first hand. I’d rather sweat a bit. That’s if I’m riding big bikes though. If I’m just in my local village on a scooter then it’s whatever I’m wearing that day.
Haha no hens but plenty of dogs 😁
