Thank you for providing this show. I truly like your movies and I'm looking forward to the next one. I'm from Sweden and not accustomed to scottish fishery prizes and would truly appriciate some reference to the actual cost of fishing. Especially the rivers and beats that would be available for a far away guest. Thanks again for an excellent show. Makes me want to go fishing every time.

Thanks, but it's British Columbia for me, even though I'm UK-based.
Why? Because the salmon fishing is accessible, free, and THERE ARE FISH!!
In Scotland you spend a fortune and if you catch a fish in a week you're doing well.
And when it's midges versus bears, I'll take the bears any day.
Good luck Scotland - sort out your salmon stocks, stop commercial salmon fishing in the Atlantic, ban salmon farming, show a bit of respect for the fly-fisher, and I may be back. Until then you needn't worry about me bothering you.
