Great looking venue! I've visited Dunbar myself, lovely spot but this seemed a great alternative! I'd fancy a crack at the pollock with the fly on a HD 6/7 set up, would be great fun! 👍
Nice video mate. Im local to there. Fished the mark a dozen times and had a handfull of dog fish. Nothing else. Good to see there is other fish there. Spoke to some divers in the summer at that spot and they said it was just tiny fish. Next time your over this side try Greenock . Lots more variety and some nice fishing on the dropshot.
Good wee video that.. its remarkable how poor the fishing in the clyde compared to years ago but seen a few nice sea trout coming out to the spinner to the south of wemyss bay where a small burn ran in
@@davidroach9704 it’s a private road, I parked at the top of the main town and walked down, parking is a nightmare there. Walk right along Wemyss bay road past the beach, and you’ll get to the rocks. maps.app.goo.gl/FpNNaq5ebGKGDm3Y6?g_st=com.google.maps.preview.copy

Good man, nice wee session. Any fish is a good fish!
Great video - always love the scenery - as well as the fish.
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it
Can remember my Late Dad taking me to the red rocks, i'm sure they were just out side Largs
Good fishing on the rocks behind the Gourock Train station not far from Wemyss Bay. I've seen 4lb pollock caught there, decent cod and dogfish aswell.
Cheers mate, I’ll try and check it out at some point

Thanks, Nice idea!
IMHO. If you are just getting small pocket bait fishing, its often worth just spinning to get the bigger ones
