I love your channel!! I think onX picked the perfect "Wildcard" this year! Although Paul placed first, and I love him, You were the winner in my opinion!!! Wanna know why..... Great video good info I’m having the opposite problem with my bronco rear is too stiff after seeing you do the shackle flip looking at that and remove one of the add a leaf’s per side can’t wait for next week.
I enjoy your videos and projects. They are a reflection of how most of us have to work and find affordable ways to build our projects. Also, just wondering why RUclipsrs from the West have to use filtered masks when cutting or grinding metal. We don't do that in the Mid' or East. I imagine it's because everything is listed as Toxic in California and you don't want to be Liable for working Dangerously--LOL. Lastly, I like Leaves. They are simple and I like being able to go to a salvage yard and buy long spring packs for Scrap Meatal prices and combining Leaves as needed to meet the lift and load capacity for a project. Note: I've found that OEM springs last a lot longer than Aftermarket.
All great points, but I am religious about wearing a respirator, ear plugs and good eye protection as an adult. I wish it had been beat into me as a kid, because i have tinitus, have had metal pulled from my eyes, and my lungs are not what they used to be. All those days of hacking up black grinding snot are gone. I don’t feel congested the day after fabrication, etc. 10/10 recommend trying it the next day you have a lot of cutting and grinding to do.
Before you even measured the lines, my guess was 36” I feel like a safe configuration for any wheeling rig is always around that length with a 45° banjo on one end and 3AN on the opposite end. And I always have 3-4 reverse flare to 3AN adapters.
Do you remember if the Raceline wheels on the Excursion are 17x8.5 with 0 offset or 17x9 with -12 offset. I appreciate your help. Really enjoy the content. Thank you.
@@AZdirtdog i agree somewhat. Even if draglink and trac bar are same length and angle, when they are steep, the handling characteristics are garbage. Flatter is better. I will take these balance rings over beads any day, but many people are perfectly happy with beads. My experience working on and driving other people’s cars and trucks is that they are far more tolerant of bad setup or bad condition components than I am. 👍
@Chasing518 i agree 4 inch and 37s looks real good. Looking forward to the engine stand rebuild and the 7.3 rebuild. Found your channel from the engine stand when you got the bad motor.

Track bar and drag link misalignment cause bump steer not drag link angle, and balance beads are much better then those rattle plates
