About a year ago my husband and I realized that they televise pro games and we've been watching corn hole tournaments on TV ever since. We're officially old 😅
I am from Rock Hill, SC. And every year they have a tournament here. It’s very exciting.
I play in corn hole leagues all year round. I love it.
Great!
Also popular at Winthrop University is Disc Golf, which has also been on the rise as both a recreational activity and professional sport. Many colleges have disc golf teams and provide scholarships.
CORNHOLIO!!!!!
Probably not a surprise, its a sport anyone can play and you don't have to be some ridiculous size to play.
Not a sport, its a game. Sports actually require exertion, and if youre exerting yourself walking across to the other board, thats an issue.
@@Brandon-qn1ws You have to throw. It doesn't require a lot of movement but it's still a sport.
@@Brandon-qn1ws Golf and bowling require a similar amount of exertion. Are those sports? Go play ten 30-round singles games in a row with no breaks in a hot room. I've played in tournaments where you play 30+ games over 16+ hours. The repetitiveness can be mentally and physically draining. And any level fatigue can alter your throwing form. It's a sport. Sure, lower on exertion spectrum, but it still qualifies. Golf and bowling don't have defense. So cornhole has those sports beat in that category.
So Corn hole is the new soccer ? 👍
@@Brandon-qn1wsWalking is an Olympic sport. So why not Corn Hole ?
Cornhole makes pickleball look like an extreme sport.
According to Google, more people play football in the USA than any other sport. I didn't see cornhole anywhere near the top as far as total number of people playing.
Lawn Jarts FTW!
Im thinking pickleball is the most up and coming sport.
It's not a sport. It's a game
If Curling is considered a sport then why not Cornhole!
Cod hole means something else doesn’t it?? Like doing it in the back door???
I can't help thinking every time I hear it did they really name a game cornhole!😂😂
I'd love to see it as an Olympic sport. IOC. Make it happen.😊

Is pickleball more popular?
Its cheap to set up and play unlike golf and other sports
Cornhole is cool and all.. but have you seen powerslap yet?
Apple cores like cornhole
Why does it have such a godawful name 😭
Actually the UFC never stopped doing events, so they have Cornhole and Korean baseball beat. Why didnt they tell us why the sport is called Cornhole. Ive always stayed away from the fun looking game because of the oddly gross name. Who wants to think of a sphincter when they are at a cookout with the family? I certainly don't, but you do you!
It's called cornhole because the bags were originally filled with dried corn. It was originally played at farm get togethers and the bags were usually made by the farmer's wife with stuff from around the farm.
@@eskallagrimsson So awesome of you to take the time to educate a luddite! I appreciate it!
Because it's unathletic
Your like 5 years too late
I was thinking 10, but slow news day..
UFC was first sport back after pandemic hit. (that mattered anyway)
Whatever happened to cornhole I mean corn Pop ? Maybe Joe should ask if they can play cornhole at the next debate . . . Come on man wherhoud I do well you know what I mean ! I got hairy legs
Finally a good Mockingbird Media parrot 🦜
