I started the game yesterday, before I realized... it became a 7 hours non stop session, so impressed with the character faces and so much more.
OneofInfinity haha same I started at 1:30 and when I looked up it was 8 o'clock in the evening. I was like wtf
Sarah The Fandom girl exactly what I did today
Yeah you're gonna be in that game way longer than 7 hours
Lol same
Literally same
Nikolaos will remember that
Nicholas Evan Sirait fallout i think?
telltale ref, make me cry :'(
Nice reference
He never asked for this.
Lmao 😂😂
I feel like the wiser choice was to spare him to gain knowledge directly
But killing him seems more like something a vengeful protagonist of the Assassin's Creed series would do; they commit alot of mistakes in search of truth
Oh wait, we get the information either way lol
That did annoy me a little i love these games and i understand its necessary for the plot and the scene is great but a little more dialogue variation would have been nice between the two options
It would have been nice if it would actually make a difference
@@generalkenobi1972 and i dont wanna sohnd like im hating. The scene is still amazong and so is the game. Just wouldve been a nice extra thing. On the other hand though thay already had to record it twice for alexios and kassandra
@@generalkenobi1972 There is a difference. If you actually play the game then you will know that kill him or spare him would be one of the factors that determine whether you will get your family back or not. Also, if he was spared, you can see him in the story later on. Again, play the the fucking game to know.
@@zeroskaterz92 dude calm down. Like i say i am aware there is a story difference i play the game. All im saying is his actual dialogue barely changes. I love how much this scene can change the story. Just the information he gives you when he dies/leaves is said with the same exaxt wording. That is all, i love that ac has finally given me agenvy and it was a tiny compalint
A Spartan Kick right off the cliff. ;) Did you plan that on purpose?
Its more entertaining if it wasnt planned. Cause that had me rolling for a good 2 minutes
I didnt know the power of spartan kick until this moment lol
1231Skyguy I spartan kicked him off in my play through, but he landed in the lake.. so I to jump down and fight him alongside like 10 other angry spartans...
Don’t give the guy death make him suffer
THIS ISSS SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAArTA!!!!! ............AAAAAAA!!!! (Got Sparta_kicked down the cliff)
I feel bad for the father. It’s either follow his duty as a Spartan citizen, or bring shame to his name and die. The system in all civilizations. If you don’t understand the Greek system, then just look at the Samurai.
I felt little sympathy. There were only three guards. Hes clearly a master warrior. If he wanted he could have escaped with his family but instead he chose his country even when it was pointless and wrong
I know a bit about spartan culture what little there was to know and it was brutal. Follow orders and die in combat or go home and be bullied and ridden of your honor and everything you have making you wish you had died, it was brutal but that was how it was.
Kiloom Bana it’s better to make the guy remember the past then just giving the bastard death
Lachlan McLaren: It is too hard for a Sparta to abandon his social position. Besides, He already knew the kids are not of his own bloodline, He can not find a reason to protect the family with all he had owned. Maybe he even wanted the kids to die... It is the nature of many men.
Its not about him, its all about her. Letting him go, she saved her soul. You can see it, when you do opposite. She is nothing more than The Misthios. Good acting btw, good narative. I like the game.
that kick was so satisfying
Threatening a Spartan with death is like threatening an alcoholic with liquor.
EDIT: Holy shit this blew up
Beanu Reeves don’t give the old fart death make him suffer the past
Honestly killing him is too easy an out for him, not even taking into account that he's a Spartan. I spared him for no other reason than him having to carry the shame the rest of his life.
Hahoo! Hahoo!
That's actually bad ass
Lmao
Best deal ever in my life, I get money to kill my father, I lie about killing him and still get the money
Then you kill the guy who paid you and are free to steal all his shit, now that's indeed a great deal.
@Zetzy 635 your brother/sister
@Krish Gopal Is the EXP not counted? Imagine being max.lvl even before confronting Deimos
@Krish Gopal wdym no reward
I unfortunately killed him because my girlfriend said to kill him lol do you get to see nikloaos later on in the game if you spare him and also do you get quests from him?
I laughed way too hard after seeing that Spartan kick.
Ooooo yes definitely make me Lough is well wish show kick with slow motion is that was be nice 😆😆😉😉😉😉😆😆😆
Devoreaux Vanwinkle every time I do the spartan kick I have to laugh aswell 😂
I kick stretron with the sparta kick
I did the exact same thing to him but he lost absolutely no health from the fall
For real I love that move, all I have to do is kick them off the mountain or cliff
The VA for Kassandra kills it every time. She’s absolutely great.
HOSS_PLAYS __ melissanthi mahut did an amazing job!!
I'm not sure I'd call her "great", but she's good at least. Alexios' VA on the other hand feels a bit forced. =__=
MrDibara I call her great because when her character is angry or excited, you can hear the passion in the dialogue and that makes the game more immersive and enjoyable for me. So yeah, in my opinion, she’s great.
@@hamakuasledgehammer1920 S'all good. Opinions are opinions. :)
I personally have heard better voice actings, but she's not bad.
MrDibara Of course there are better voice actors, especially in this particular generation of games but considering the other lead v.a. she definitely does way better. Like the voice acting is Andromeda is fucking horrible, I mean, were they even trying?

i know the obvious answer in these types of scenarios is to spare the person, but i let my anger get the better of me & i killed nikolaus. he watched his wife beg and cry for her childrens' lives, but he watched his baby son get thrown off a cliff, then threw his daughter. and he had the audacity to tell KASSANDRA to make peace with HIS decision of what he thought was killing her and her brother? please.
"please" my ass. its a game XD
You could see the pain in his eyes when he did it. It was not easy for him, but he had to do it as a spartan.
Luckily both children survived while the father had to live for so many years knowing he had killed both his children. I think that is a worse punishment than death.
chihiro, you did well, if he had showed any regret and accepted that what he did was wrong and that he needed to pay the price for it, then sure, mercy would be the best choice, because justice had already been made upon him. But he didn't, so he was punished by vengeance.
I agree. Clearly he was conflicted about it, but he could have at least said sorry.
You see not killing him actually will cause plot holes because the game wants you to kill him. I didn’t kill him because I understood that he regrets his choice everyday. But later on the game either forced me to lie about killing him or lie about not finding him rather than I let him go
If it wasnt a spartan she kicked down, Leonidas her grandfather would be so proud.
Glenn Boeckx SPOILER
Spolier of what? A movie from 2008?
It's fine, she just has to say "THIS. IS. PERSIA?"
Grandfather Leonidas is *EXTREMILY* proud of me then
@Alpo Brand What kind of messenger is just as armed as his body guards?
Her emotions in the revenge choice are much better. You can see it build up as he says he loves her, and she snaps when he mentions her brother.
Kassandras voice is just so much better 😭
I'm sure sparing him will yield a great encounter mission later in the game. Hopefully
No honor in vengeance..? Ezio called, he wants his life changed!
I gotta say, whoever voiced Cassandra did a great job.
Strange how these high ranking military leaders take long treks up on the mountains without any guard details...
Honestly the instant recognition in his eyes when he takes off his helmet made me spare him.
I didn't fall, you f*cking threw me to my death!!
I cant stop laughing😅😅
Very good game. Only bad thing is that mostly everybody look alike
This video had me rolling when that guy said you can go straight to f...king Hades and then poof that guy get a Spartan kick off the cliff lmaoooooooo good one
My roommate and I both spartan kicked him off too... I feel like they give you the cliff just to do it XD.
@@pikel-sama Why would you kill Nikolaos?
Because he wanted to kill Alexios
@@janicekgibki9172 but after played the whole game I realize it wasn't really his fault but yet shouldn't throw them off the cliff the min i know I was able to kill him I said to myself this wayyyyy to easy,so other words there would be consequences
So killing him was bad?
The art of the facial expressions in the sparing him scene were fantastic.
So I kicked stentor of the cliff and was like "phew that's the end of that"
But he fell in the fackin water and lived 😂

😂😂
I dun care for spoilers and all but I just want to ask, can you get Nikolaos as a crew on board the ship if you spared him?
Yepp you can
Kaan Paksoy realy
+Cooper_sly123 yes
How?
@@demonintellect9834 not killing him lol
The game, after 100% completion, I can say this was probably my favorite video game of all time. It truly was a work of art. The story was one of the best I’ve ever played through. Plus the game itself was truly engaging. The game looked beautiful too. You must play!!!
Does killing him have a long term affect? And if you don’t kill him, will you see him again later in the game?
I spared him but Alexios keeps saying he killed him...i am a bit confused, is that a bug and now he is dead or is he just saying it to Elpenor? He also told Barnabas that he killed him...help? XD
Same here i'm so confused
He took his helmet so that he could get credit for killing him. He's still alive in your game.
@@BalvinTheBrip Yeah had to play to know :D thanks
Thank you guys👍
@@BalvinTheBripi think so too but i am still so confused, even several hours later he keeps telling everyone "nikolaos is dead" ...
"You were never truly mine" tears up a bit.
I have crush on Kassandra 😍
That is actually sad
Zack Smith spartan women weren’t soldiers and mercenaries though, so he can still dream.
You should marry her
yes they were
Why Not Lara Croft ?
I’ve upgraded his sword just so I could use it throughout the whole game
Same. Its like hepzefas sword in origins.
Nick Bruh22 except hepfezas sword was on fire. Both are pretty beast legendarys though
Never mind
I bought the game yesterday, I believe either choice will have long term consequences (Defeat of Athens for instance ?). I have to say I’m awed by the game, the graphics, the storyline and the width of the world so far.
That guy looks Like Gerard Butler's Leonidas *in a way
I love how they added the Sparta kick as the new FUS RO DAH!!! LMAO epic kick
As Kassandra (Hunter build) I killed him. He chucked us off the mountain, so I chucked HIM off a mountain. Sweet revenge. Then I sided with Athens and annihilated all spartan territories on the map. That was my preference. I'll side with Sparta as Alexios when NG+ comes out and be a pure dutiful Spartan warrior.
Although i approve killing Nikolaos, i don't think you should blame Sparta for what happened, the only guilties are the oracle and the Wolf.
No, it was all of Sparta. The elders where on the cliff, too. And they all called for Nikolaos to murder his own children.
Siding with Athens is a lot of fun 🤣
That kick was absofuckinglutely gratifying to see!😂😅
The kick is just so OP...Imagine there is a large enemy with a red skull and you easily kick him into oblivion and he is dead😆
I love the emotions portrayed by Nikolas from 2:30 as a father figure and the music is soothing as well. They did a wonderful job with emotions of the characters. I love it when Kassandra gets to know about the cult and is afraid of them not like in Origin where Bayek is just vengeful and doesn't fear anyone
I think the reason for Bayek doing that is because, after he loses his son he basically has nothing left to lose, which as Kassandra still has her father (if you spare him), her real father, her mother and her brother still alive, that’s why Kassandra is very much afraid and weary which as Bayek is fearless.
@@dcmuggamuga407 Did you finish Valhalla?
Adam Jensen is the father of Kassandra and Deimos? Epppiiiccccc. Should've had Nikolaos say "I didn't ask for this"
That last sob after the vision ends gives me chills
You can tell that even the guy who filmed this was astounded at the power of the Sparta Kick at 6:01
😂😂😂
5:59 his shield is just like the one in the movie 300
and he got kicked just like in the movie
Well duh, that's what Spartan shields looked like
Wolfie McFox i mean it is exactly the same as 300 because most of the spartans in the game have black shields with red lambda symbol on it
@@rashedalsuwaidi3648 I repeat, that's what real spartan shields looked like.
Wolfie McFox no that is bullshit
I played this game for one week but rarely played the main mission because of the excitement to level up to 50, even though the main mission was just before level 50 was suggested to level 20-30
huh? 😂
Is nikolauses sword a good end game sword? I’m planning on upgrading it till I’m lv 50 cause it’s legendary but is it worth it
That spartan kick at the end!
6:01 THIS IS KASSANDRA!!!
2:55 i want that soundtrack so bad... I've been looking for it on RUclips but..... still
jesus christ you put some extra sauce on that spartan kick lmaoooo
My brother in law played as Kassandra and now I'm playing as Alexios trying to be as bad as possible and it's crazy to see how totally the gameplay is different from what you do in this moment.
Lowkey the only choice I've regret making in AC Odyssey was not sparing him, because at the end of the game I was reunited with the mother and Deimos (Kassandra in this case because I played as Alexios) and you could use both of the characters to sail with you as your Lieutenants, so if I also spared Nikolas the whole family (well sorta) would've been going on adventures together.
Made the same choice as you and i stand by it, i played as kassandra and he threw me off the cliff personally so maybe that made it easier but all i cared about was my brother and the happiness i got when he cried and hugged le at the end made me realise i didn't need that sorry excuse of a stepfather afterall
This game is the best one hands down.
Nah it’s way better then origins but the older assassins creed like assassins creed 2 I believe were better mainly because you were actually an assassins and not a mercenary but I still liked this game but didn’t feel like an assassins creed game
I love that kick gets the job done
Funny thing about that (warning a bit of spoilers) : when I also kicked him off the cliff he actually survived and we meet later in the game, in the end we had a duel I won and speared him turning him into a mercenary but in my ubesoft status account, it said that he is dead even know he still alive as a mercenary.
I’m curious what percentage of players kicked Stentor off the cliff
It came so naturally to me.
Best moment in the game right here. Too bad not every cutscene can look like this
How much dramechue do you gain by killing him? I am almost to this part and I am in need of some dramechue
that Spartan kick is really good. remind me of FUS RO DA
If you spartan kick someone, say off a cliff, do you need to go to the body to retrieve the loot? or does it magically come to you like if you assassinate someone?
Gimligim there is a perk for that
Inconvenient loot is your payment for the satisfaction of a spartan kick off the mountain side.
The only reason i did not kill him is because I did not want to become Darth Vader
Ooooh! Do we get light sabers later on?
The Kick alone made me love this video lmao
"There is no honor in vengeance". Ezio proceeds to cry in the corner. :D
This is SPARTAAA!!!
I came to watch this because I messed up my game and thought there were more options to talk/kill after the first branch. Killing him seems more satisfying! Although it'll be ok if I see him later and the story/character development goes further because of it.
I left him alive. Does anyone know where he ended up going? Also, I heard you can recruit the Wolf's adopted son. Where can I find him?
Amazing job
Anyone else playas alexious
Me
Me! He reminds me of Ezio.
I play with alexious but I kinda regret it since canonically you are supposed to play with kassandra .
Yeah
Does killing him stop you from becoming a Spartan because I don't really want to become a Spartan and I think the father kind of deserves to die
Sparta kick on the cliff
Me : THIS IS SPARTAAAAAA!!!!!!
So, you mean to tell me that at about this time in the game, when i was about lvl 6 or 7, The Wolf of Sparta was a one shot kill, but the wolf in the forest could handle me if i wasn't careful!
Anybody know where I can find that helmet? I’ve been looking for it everywhere.
6:00
THIS...... IS.... SPARTA!!!!!!
I spared him. Forgiveness>vengeance
I may be on the side of Athens but I balled my eyes out when you killed him
Dumb question but I cant find the helmet you wear in the video, can I buy it from a blacksmith?
How do you wear the wolfs helm helmet?
Lil Boat I need to know this too
You go to talk to elpenor to tell him you killed the wolf. Then you fight his 2-3 punk ass guards, then the quest should complete. Allowing you to wear it. I've personally been rocking it at level 8 when I got it. Still rocking it at level 25. with engravings and upgrades, it stays my main helm. Too badass not to
@@ns3276 I was level 14 when I did that mission. No xp boosts btw.
I feel bad for anyone who kills Nikolaos. The ending is so much better with him around.
I’m confused though, I was going about the game not killing Spartans, just Athenians, I spared the wolf’s life, but it said the Spartans have turned on me. Who the hell should I be killing and not killing? Am I an ally of anyone?
Wait, if you kill Nikolaos and Stentor in this mission, what happens in the later mission named "Paint it red". You doesn't even have to kill the Athenian champions, or what?
actually killing him will make kassandra regret so better option is not to kill him.
@@Opertictheflyguy600 i will still spare nikolaos.
But she admits that although difficult, it was necessary, and she's right. When justice fails to act, it must be revenge the one that punishes the guilty. It might bring you regret later, but leting the guilty get away will be way worse. But i know, if we let revenge consume us, we will destroy ourselves.
Killed him.... and you know what. I don’t regret it I don’t care about the moral questions of it I just decided “Bastard tried to kill his kids and I’ll get paid if I kill him, win-win” ironically enough not killing him will still get you the money but killing him will still give you the info you need about your mother. Guess it’s just a moral dilemma then. Welp still don’t regret it
I spared him just for the fact I thought he was the father and raised the character. But i found out if you spare him he does show up and safe you some time in the game. Not gonna spoil anything else, gotta find out on your own if you don't already know :)
What happens with this whole situation? Better to kill them both or keep them alive
Yea I seen that but in I stop there an restarted it on my ps5 cuz I don’t have my series s no more an now I’m regretting killing him
Is Nikolaos a big part of the storyline if I spare him? I chose to kill him, and I hope I won't regret that if he is a key figure
What helmet is that (the one Kassandra is wearing)? And how do I find it?
Another spoiler showing up in my recommendations. And before anyone decides to get on some high horse about not clicking the video, it's the TITLE AND THUMBNAIL that spoil it. You have no choice in seeing it. So anyone who didn't know you kill him, is now spoiled.
Saber Pendragon he's right you know
It's a choice. You don't have to kill him. People complained the same way with other videos this guy made.
Shut the fuck up and stop crying.
This guy’s channel basically spoiled the second ending
Same thing happend when Game of thrones 6 and 7 seasons were released. Spoilers were everwhere.
His last words were....
*"BEWARE OF THE SNAKES IN THE GRASS"*
Wait what happens in Boetia is you kill Stentor in Megaris? Is it just like some random polemarch?
Is there a negative outcome for the rest of the game with either decision?
I’m stuck doing side missions lmao
Damn seeing this death scene makes me feel so sad this is why I never choose the kill options in games I even felt bad watching Kleon’s fast and slow death because he looked so helpless

Think utube need to do something about putting spoilers on games I hate twats that spoil games and this isn’t even out properly yet, the reccomended needs to be sorted out
There should be an option to report videos for spoilers. That way these clickbait channels wouldn't be so quick to spoil shit for people in their thumbnails and video titles.
@@dreamerabe you read the title right? It said Kassandra choice of killing the wolf. You didn't know who the wolf was you had a choice to click the video. If you didn't want to know the choices you shouldn't have watched
@@RDucky Fella, I didn't watch the video. I just clicked on it, disliked it, and voiced my displeasure in the comments. Even if you don't watch the video I already got a story beat spoiled just by the title and the thumbnail. That's not cool, fella.
@@dreamerabe Bro this spoils nothing unless you watch. Let me help you. The thumbnail is of a woman stabbing an old man. And the title is Kassandra sparing or killing of the wolf of Sparta. This is a choice based game so it doesn't spoil anything it says I'm the title the choice to either kill him or not. If you never played then you don't know who the wolf is so it spoils nothing. Then if you have played then withing 2 hours you know you have a choice to either kill or not kill the wolf of Sparta. You are given that quest early on on the first part of the island before part 1 is close to ending. Part 1 doesn't close to a certain part. But anyways point is it doesn't tell you who the wolf is or anything based off thumbnail or title. You already know you have to chose sides between Athens and Sparta so killing a Spartan is already know to happen. Now it's cool to voice an opinion but to call something a spoiler that doesn't actually spoil anything is dumb. So what does it spoil if you don't know who he is? Nothing but you have gold so you know who he is but since you got the gold edition you already knew you were given the mission to kill him. This doesn't tell you which choice to make or why unless you watch it. So I suggest don't watch it unless you chose too it's truly not complicated
I didn’t kill him and I feel good ^^
Can someone tell me if I can’t talk to him later on ?
yes at the end of the game you can recruit him for your ship even
Qarcon yes i did ^^ 80 hours and game was done with atlantis beaten ^^
Hey thanks for putting this right in the title of the video/thumbnail! When many people haven’t gotten this far yet.
Question for people who've been playing for a long time now. In your opinion do you regret your choice of playing alexios or kassandra? Why or why not.
Pros and cons, i would like not having to look at alexios taint when swimming, but i like the va for alexios better.
I can't stop laughing at how stupid people are being when it comes to spoilers...
People! Its the *Thumbnail* and *Title* that spoils people. NOT BY CLICKING ON THE VIDEO Lmao
Exactly. Luckily I've seen this part already so it isn't a problem for me, but for those who didn't pre order the deluxe or gold editions these videos are a big problem.
Thank you. It's like people don't get that those complaining likely didn't watch the video. We're just pissed that the title and thumbnail just spoiled a story beat for us. That ain't cool. :(
The thumbnail and title spoil nothing. By thumbnail you see her stabbing an old man. By title it states Kassandra spares or kills Nickolas wolf of Sparta. You don't know who he is so it spoils nothing the game is about killing people between Sparta and Athens and choosing a side. You also know that you can play as a girl or a man. Point is this spoils nothing. Unless you knew who the wolf was but to get that info you wanted either a gameplay video or a unofficial review. Which by the way was your choice to do. This video on it's own spoils nothing. You have to chose to view it. Stop blaming others for poor choices you make. I watched official trailers official review and seen over 100 videos never knew who the wolf was until I played game 3 days ago. And wanted help on making this choice. I chose to watch it as did you. The fault falls on you
@@dreamerabe bro I know nothing of this channel never seen it. I wanted help in my choice this video helped my choice. I don't know the channel person. But my point is your all inferring your knowledge and not realizing it. If you have not played the game then all you see is a woman stabbing an old man. By title you know it's a man named the wolf of Sparta. But it's a choice based game. So all you know is you ha e a choice to kill this random man or not to kill this random man. What does it spoil knowing you have a choice to kill some random guy. Correct answer nothing. It spoils nothing. But fact is you already know who the wolf is because your playing the game. But now your adding your knowledge to the title by going oh man I got a choice to kill him shit why? But get it you thought this because you got knowledge of who he is. I'm glad you didn't watch it their are spoilers inside if you don't already know what's going on. But the title is of a choice to either do so etching or not. So it spoils nothing. You didn't gain any information from it. To be a spoiler it has to give you Information you dont know already know. Since the title or thumbnail doesn't give you any information it spoils nothing. It's a choice based game all it spoiled was you will have a choice to kill a old guy but since you can ki anyone it didn't spoil anything. So go be stupid somewhere else.
@@RDucky So you're not a fanboy of this channel, just an idiot defending the uploader's bad choices because you have no empathy for others. Got it.
Go make like a tree, and get out of here, fella.
I don't get how sparing him gets me 3 bounty hunters on my tail.
When I got this game on Friday I honestly was not expecting Alexios and Kassandra to be siblings
Is there a single soul that didn’t yeet stentor off after killing nikolaos
