- Experimental new format. Feedback appreciated! This video was a lot more complicated to do than my other battles (which are already higher-demanding than most people would think), so this is probably not going to be a frequent thing. I might edit something like this again in the future though.

Thank you, great to hear! 😁I've been working on the tournament bracket and icon design for about a week alone before I even started with the actual video. Altogether, everything took about two and a half weeks, but I like the way it turned out!
Those two Draugr doing Fus Ro Dah together and ragdolling each other was pure cinema

I reckon archpyromancer could've beat Draugr deathlord archer if he kept strafing side to side because arrows can't be controlled mid-air

Yeah, he definitely could have won; the Draugr Deathlord was down to 262 health at the end. Since he's too slow to dodge anything with his bow drawn, it was a close match, but the Arch Pyromancer's low health made the difference!

Good layout for your Skyrim battles. I recognize that the text was made in Sony Vegas and you probably spent most of your time on taking pictures of the NPC's to place them in your own self designed boxes. I could predict most of the outcomes correctly except for the final battle. A Draugr Deathlord Archer could after all break through an Arch pyromancer defence easily when that Arch pyromancer is using a ward against an arrow and is not wearing some usefull armor.
Thanks! 😄I actually do not use Sony Vegas; I made the layouts in GIMP, which includes the entire text in this video as well. But yes, it took a while getting the screenshots into the icon frames! 😂
I agree, that was a pretty quick battle. The Arch Pyromancer did better than I thought, getting the Draugr Deathlord Archer down to 262/1300 health. But in the end, it wasn't enough!
oooh well, a tournament is a great idea.
The Draugr death overlord are real monster, the bareback pyromancer who will not get killed for the third arrow and alas, since he has no armor, he was killed. x.x

Draugr overlords and deathlords are in a whole different league than the others.

@@lSlendermaster Should maybe start in lower tiers. Like mudcrabs, wolves, skeevers, horkers, spiders, bears, netches, etc. Then work your way up to the strongest.

I have nothing in particular planned for now, but it's possible! This was more of a test edit to see if people like it. Since it's much harder and more time-consuming to edit than my other videos, it would only be a special thing, but I can see myself do another one sometime!
I DID expect the winner those things are the bane of my existence as a mage player until i unlock dragonhide what i didnt expect was the arch pyromancer ending up second...i mean those things are nightmares on open ground with space to move around but in an arena with limited space its astonishing how he killed the centurion
Oh yes, the Deathlord archers are savage! 😂 The Pyromancer and the Centurion are about equal, but the Centurion has a hard time hitting smaller targets with his steam attack, which always makes a big difference
@lSlendermaster hey if you ever wanted to make another tournament and didn't know what to make them about I have two suggestions: one of them is with followers (you could either put all of them in their cap or make it so that they're at the level of the lower cap one) and also you could make one for summons it would be so fun to watch,love the content :)
Edit: I've been watching your content and reading comments and found out you aren't a fan of AE still I Really recommend necromantic grimoire with that one you could make epic tournaments (aylied lich is also very fun to watch but if you don't like getting CC it's too much for just one Summon whereas necromantic grimoire is So worth it)

Is it possible to get CC content without playing AE? Because if not, I won't be able to do that. Updating my game would break things like the floating healthbars, and most likely other SKSE-related things as well.

As for your question, yeah, it is possible to get them individually and download them. AE is just something of a discount if you want to get them all. Otherwise, you can get the ones you want by themselves

Thank you! 😁 I made the tournament bracket and the icons in GIMP, and edited the video in DaVinci Resolve. It was a lot of work, but I think it paid off! 😄

Will you do another one of these? I tried to watch someone else's "best companion" tournament but.... I've been spoiled by your editing and fight setup. Im interested in seeing a fair tournament between companions. Even if it's split up between classes.
First off, thanks a lot for your compliment! 😄Unfortunately, I don't think I'll make a tournament with followers, for several reasons. There are way too many followers in the game; I believe over 40 in total. This would mean an insane amount of rounds to record and edit, and also a complete redesign of my tournament bracket and making an icon for every single participant. To put things into perspective: This tournament had only 8 and took me about 2 ½ weeks to produce, everything combined.
I find most of the followers rather boring to watch in fights anyway, so even if I had the motivation to do a large tournament, it would have to be with NPCs that I find interesting. 😅
However, I did make another tournament with conjurable creatures! If you haven't seen that one, maybe this would help a bit too? 😅
Ngl giants have pretty impressive damage output relative to their relatively low health

Are you planning to include unique npcs or just non unique npcs for this torniment? I think non unique would be better just for this torniment
I'm leaning towards non-unique NPCs for the most part, since those are much easier to handle. But in the end, it depends on the ideas other people and I have for a setup 😄

I got an idea for a new tournament. Do every dragon priest in a battle royal
I might try if they had better AI. That's the reason why I avoid them. A single Dragon Priest is a pain to work with, but so many are too much to handle, sadly 🤷

Aside from the additional armor rating, I think it wouldn't have made a huge difference since they usually don't block arrows, from my experience. I'm not sure how much damage they actually absorb when blocking. 🤔But that's an interesting point still. Yes, Draugr Death Overlords can spawn with Ebony shields sometimes, but it seems to be really rare. I've only recently found one with a shield in my game for the first time 😅

First off, it's always good if you do something that not a lot of other people do. RUclips is flooded with Skyrim content (as are many other places online), so it's hard getting started.
The quality also matters. Ideally, you should use a screen recorder or capture card of some sort. If you have to record with your phone, I highly recommend flipping it 90 degrees so it's horizontal, not vertical (unless you're making shorts).
