I have to humbly disagree that King Candy is gay based solely on his clothing. The concept artist for Wreck it Ralph clearly took inspiration from french court attire from the 17th and 18th century which was very colorful and flamboyant which also makes it perfect for the land of Sugar Rush.
So do I i would also like to add that before king candy took over the palace was meant for vanelipe not him and pink being usually associated with girls and the color of vanelipe's dress at the end when they r veal that she is the princess it is light pink like the walls.

This video doesn't just annoy me because it assumes people a gay because of stereotypes, but also because it assumes that kids don't understand when someone is gay. It enforces the idea that being gay is somehow "adult and not appropriate for children". I realised I wasn't straight when I was 14, and I would have done it a lot earlier if someone had actually talked to me about sexuality or if there was more representation in children's media. I have friends that realised a lot earlier. My siblings are 8 and 10 and they've understood about not being straight for years. This whole thing perpetuates the damaging "protect the children" mentality which just makes kids feel ashamed of who there are.

There is no confirmation he is gay. 2. Oaken's smaller sized wife is right there. The young man this video alludes to is obviously an eldest son who inherited his father's size. 3. Terk is not in the least gay (actress is but not character). She's a tomboy gorilla naturally. In one episode of the TV series, in fact, it shows that Terk has a crush on a male gorilla. 4. Bucky and Pronk could go either way. I always saw them as brothers but there is a case for them being gay also. It's 50/50 depending on your stance. As for the other examples, yea for Disney and tolerance of differences.

CokaIsIt I'm bi too and I'm terrified of coming out to my mom. She's religious and she's Mexican and most Mexican families that are traditional don't accept gays or any of the lgbtq+ community. I've known that I'm bi for a year and a few months and I've brought up being gay to mom and I asked her if one if her kids were to come out as gay what would she say. She said it's wrong but she will still love us. And then the topic of bisexuality came up and she said that being bisexual is more wrong than being gay. So I'm really scared but I love my mom and she loves me a lot so I'm conflicted. This video doesn't just annoy me because it assumes people a gay because of stereotypes, but also because it assumes that kids don't understand when someone is gay. It enforces the idea that being gay is somehow "adult and not appropriate for children". I realised I wasn't straight when I was 14, and I would have done it a lot earlier if someone had actually talked to me about sexuality or if there was more representation in children's media. I have friends that realised a lot earlier. My siblings are 8 and 10 and they've understood about not being straight for years. This whole thing perpetuates the damaging "protect the children" mentality which just makes kids feel ashamed of who there are.

I have read hundreds of ignorant hate comments and bigoted religious comments from parents and from kids a like .Most of the gay people I knew and know told me that they were aware of same sex attraction as early as ten years old, myself included. We just knew that attraction before we even knew what the word gay even meant.
The parents that say they want to teach their kids about gay people wind up teaching them all the religious hatred as seen in the comments along with all the negative damaging stereotypes that the parents themselves were raised to believe in, and then the kids try to repeat and quote all the hate that their parents taught them. Hatred and bigotry just gets taught and handed down with each new generation of kids :(

Don't burn me on this, I'm not anti-gay or anything, I'm just pointing some information out.
1. King Candy lives in a freaken candy castle. He's going to look like a giant sugar plum fluff. There is no confirmation he is gay.
2. Oaken's smaller sized wife is right there. The young man this video alludes to is obviously an eldest son who inherited his father's size.
3. Terk is not in the least gay (actress is but not character). She's a tomboy gorilla naturally. In one episode of the TV series, in fact, it shows that Terk has a crush on a male gorilla.
4. Bucky and Pronk could go either way. I always saw them as brothers but there is a case for them being gay also. It's 50/50 depending on your stance.
As for the other examples, yea for Disney and tolerance of differences.

You're half right about Scar. We know he wasn't Kovu's father and nothing I've heard confirms either way for Vitani or Nuka, however, in a deleted movie scene and the TLK play there is a scene where Scar wants Nala to be his queen.

CokaIsIt I'm bi too and I'm terrified of coming out to my mom. She's religious and she's Mexican and most Mexican families that are traditional don't accept gays or any of the lgbtq+ community. I've known that I'm bi for a year and a few months and I've brought up being gay to mom and I asked her if one if her kids were to come out as gay what would she say. She said it's wrong but she will still love us. And then the topic of bisexuality came up and she said that being bisexual is more wrong than being gay. So I'm really scared but I love my mom and she loves me a lot so I'm conflicted. Anyway I think that I'll be ready to fully come out to my mom when the time is right but I don't think I'll be doing it anytime soon.

In about a month I'm going on vacation with my uncle, and grandmother, I'm telling her there. If you need to talk, you can just come to my account or something. By the way, a tip that I THINK will help, is come out in a way that will make them remember how much they love you. For example, I'm coming out with a drawing, and I've been drawing ever since I was a baby. So you see what I mean? Something that will make them remember.
