      I really miss that place but I especially miss the people!!! Stu, Judy, Rick, Steve, Jim, David, Maria, the Verbs and EVERYONE at the jam session! They were all so seriously nice and down to earth! They made me feel so at home. Especially Stu and Judy...even though Stu blew up his amp while jamming lol lol lol he's a real rockstar! And all of the that because of the absolute most generous person on the planet ... YOU! Thank you Dave!

      Caught me creating a "Banjo music," file. Many players but few who stand out. I put three of you and Jamie playing together, a early Willow Osborne catching her in a blooper fixing her hair laughing as the camera rolled to sudden realization and she laughs at herself and plays a great Clinch Mt.Back step. The Sleepy Banjo Boys ... It's great to see kids play who can kick my butt playing. Can't explain it but no legends n this file. Maybe it's a appreciation for today generation of players?

      It's actually based on the guitar solo by Chuck Berry ... I tune the 1st string to E and learned it by watching RUclips how to play Johnny B. Good instructional videos for guitar lol.

    Yep. You can definitely tell the bluegrass influence on early rock.
    And blacks like to say Rock isn't a multi ethnic influence

    • @Artexerxes101
      @Artexerxes101 5 лет назад

      You do realize that bluegrass also has African influence. And the banjo itself has its roots in various African instruments.
      I've actually never heard anyone say rock isn't multiethnic. You're the first one to mention it. African American music prides itself in its multiethnic background. Jelly Roll Morton even said that Latin music played a huge part in the development of jazz.
