i think that shigemasa matsuo was a sound designer at konami not a composer. i'm guessing that manami matsumae was a composer for the game with matsuo arranging the tracks for this game

Better than mediocre, but falls short of greatness
Hard disagreement. That is ridiculously unfairly harsh. This is easily in a top 15 NES/Famicom soundtracks of all time.
