No one can turn their back on a living being when they are in trouble and can't save themselves. God bless her.

FANTASTIC fast acting Detective Julia Caldwell, the core of her of saving others life even in face of danger kicked in. Real life hero -- though seems like an overused word, in this case true.

There were lots of people there who did nothing, including fire fighters, who have the bunker gear that would have allowed them to safely rescue the dog. I want to know why all those people FAILED to act, and the rescue was left to two people without any PPE. Thanks to Julia for doing what all those men failed to do. Hope her recovery is swift and she has no lasting damage from the incident. I also hope everyone else there besides the first cop who at least tried to help is disciplined.

According to the credits at the end of the video, the reporter was also on the scene with a camera. This is not a body cam recording. So, was it so dangerous in there, after all?

It's pretty clear from the way its filmed that the perspective is from a body camera. Smh. There's no second person filming.

@@pogo9876 Well, in that case, look how fast the release the body cam video when it is favorable to the police. Second time in two days.

@@xandervk2371 fact check: my husband had to OPRA (request for public records) the video footage and he is the one who released it. Not my department not me...a civilian. But thank you for the positive and thoughtful comments.
