Like you had The Beginning, The Time, The End and all the damn unnecessary re-releases of The Beginning like that album was as good to re-release in different types or some stuff. Look, im a huge Black Eyed Peas fan and i really loved their earlier stuff, the first Album and Elephunk are still my favorites of them, but clearly Will has some "issues" and its even more clear that this was the "beginning" of the drag out and painful end of the Black Eyed Peas.
He didn't word it that eloquently but I thought that was actually good advice for designing a logo. Most people with little/no experience wouldn't consider things like wanting it to be identifiable regardless of size, I found it kind of interesting.
Even he doesn't understand what he's saying, how it would be helpful for people that do not know much about the subject if is not conveyed in a clear way

I found it kinda helpful just because I have the basic intelligence needed to infer why a logo still functioning well in black and white is valuable, even though it's not something I've considered before because I don't often deconstruct company graphics.

Ralph Loren, John Deere, The flag of any given group or nation, all adhere to one or more of these suggestions. That doesn't make them profound thoughts, it just means any crackpot know nothing can make sound surface level suggestions. It's like saying "cartoons make for good marketing toward children" is advice anyone wouldn't already know.

I think Intel just knows that they don't really have to advertise to anyone already in the market for a computer looking for info, so instead use the advertising budget to tour around some celerity name that they can attach to advertisements for prebuilt computers and the such. At least my best guess, and would guess something else similar again. Even makes sense from a marketing standpoint, because you can just use his music in the ads. Advertisement all around.

Will.i.am's style is some awful collision between an Austin Powers-type "international playboy" via Kubrick's 2001 & a sassy mall-walking grannie probably called Gloria Anne who dresses for comfort + visibility in 1994. Also I usually don't love the Life Extension Techno RichFolk but I hope he keeps pursuing immortality bc otherwise I can't deal with the onslaught of "Will.i.was" jokes that'll be his ultimate legacy.
The thing is about his initial tangent about logos, he's right about the importance of a logo being versatile in today's brand (capitalist) world. He just lost his train of thought, and started not really saying anything but world salad, probably because he doesn't actually understand why the elements he described are important. That's just my opinion though.
The primary issue with how he speaks seems to be that he cannot generalize ideas. He always defaults to giving examples instead. He can't just say 'Why do computers have to keep getting smaller?', he says 'Why can a computer only be a desktop or a laptop Is it a bathroom?'. He doesn't say 'Anthropologists study the differences between cultures', he says '... Study the differences between Brazil and Japan'. Seriously, listen for this tendency. It's EVERYWHERE in how he talks.
