Always my favorite song. Truly enjoy all his music. On radio stations and first saw him in concert was Fan Fair back 1989 . This song live on forever and ever in are hearts. Always love Cajun music. Two thumbs up.
Is there any video of Doug Kershaw in the 80s at a Country Music Award Show (maybe) of him lying down in the audience - playing his fiddle - and doing a memorable rendition of Louisiana Man? I remember it but can't find the video anywhere. If one even exists
+Debra Peterson I am sure that was hard finding out that answer on your own. I think Doug always played with gifted and nice looking band members. I really liked watching him do Louisianna Man with his son on drums. Just for the gifted part though.
I love this song and Doug ain't so bad either the guy that's doing backup singing for Doug messes up a little bit and you see him start singing one verse and dug through him a loop and was singing a different one but after about four or five words the kid recovered. Enjoyed watching that every time because it just shows nobody's perfect but yet it did no damage
Never be another that good
He said it better than anybody could that's for sure
No one has a wiggle like Doug! AaaaaaaaEeeeeeee! 😁👍✌

You tube ; Waylon , Leon Russell and Doug Kershaw . Jambalaya
I will answer my own question- his name is Max Paul Schwensson- he passed away in 2009.

Do you know who the young man is also playing guitar?
Doug's brother Rusty
Max Schwenssen from Seattle WA
Good, but the drummer seems to be lagging the tempo of this very upbeat song.
I agree.
First thing I noticed!
Sucks...Doug had revolving members often.
