@@Jessica-tr4ir No, as there are no layovers - and layovers allow you time to spend in another city. If you took a flight to Malaga in the morning from London - you'll be getting a flight back from Malaga to London in the afternoon.
On the first day of Training you can swap with one of your coursemates if they happen to have the base you want. Then, on the first day of paid work / first day online at your base you can request a transfer. That is how I remember the procedure. Luton, Southend & Stanstead London airports are supposed to be easy bases to get because apparently nobody wants to go there (people prefer spain and other mediterranean countries). Even if you don't get the base you want at the start, you can always keep requesting a base transfer and they are likely to consider it if you have a 'clean record' (not lates, no no-shows, no grooming discrepancies etc). You definitely get perks with some European airlines, but they are most likely for long haul flights only. And just so they are adhering to the law and not overworking you.
Yes of course, because you have to return back to the base. It is never just 1 flight unless you are called for an emergency flight returning to base - then you would either fly there as a passenger or on a deadhead flight.

Hi Tabitha,I recently applied for ryanair and I passed my English test and asked to produce cv and full size photo .what is the next step ,I am an Indian, is accommodation is company provided and the food
I have tips in a playlist on my channel. Ryanair does not provide food and accomodation. ruclips.net/p/PLmFstjmsqsr6k81u8wKmwV2GZI1dqUXGt . For everything else, just make sure you meet the requirements in the job description.
Hi Tabitha , I am Daman. I have a question that I am EU ( European union ) Permanent resident and have right to live and work in EU but I don't hold any European passport so can I work in Ryanair? as a flight attendant. I hold an Indian passport with Austrian permanent resident.
That's a good question. Here is the job description for a role in Dublin. You can see if the papers you have match what they are asking for. careers.ryanair.com/search/#job/1b0a1b It says in the first bullet point: "Applicants must demonstrate their legal entitlement to work on an unrestricted basis across the EU and / or the UK"
I am married to an EU citizen I applied to RyanAir and I got an interview. Will I be able to become a Cabin Crew if he comes with me to the EU if he comes with me?
I think at 52 you should still be able to apply. Just ask yourself if you would be okay with mostly younger colleagues in the cabin sometimes telling you what to do etc. You just have to be very strong-minded to be a cabin crew for Ryanair :) Sorry I am not trying to put you off at all, just letting you know about the reality - which I am sure you may have already considered.
No you need to find that yourself. Feel free to watch my video about the things you need to pay for and the things that are free ruclips.net/video/YH1Fg1OHYG0/видео.html 😊
Yes, because it's part of the job. For home standby, your pay is included in your base pay. For airport standby you paid about 30 euros for each shift.
Yes it's pretty common to have 4 setor days, though some bases tend to only have 2-3 sectors. The only bases I've heard about 6 sector days in is Ireland - Probably for short flights between the UK & Ireland.
Hey, i got training next week and it says i need to get a crew identification ID to become cabin crew. Do i need this before i go into training or before i become actual cabin crew?
Are you talking about the Crewcode or Airport ID? Crewcode you will get on the first day/or first few days of training, Airport ID you will get on the last day of training or first day at your base (after training).
It was varied. A day could start at 6am and end at 2pm but for that day you have to wake up at 3am and by the time you get home it is 4/5pm. I was hoping sharing the rosert would explain that.
You need to be 18 to work for them 😊 Just keep working hard in school and when you get to 18 (if you still want to be a CC) you can apply. And of course apply to other airlines.

You should practice swimming and make sure you can get from A to B.
do ryanair flight attendants do layovers or do you always come back home everyday?
you come back home every day.
Hi! Would you say it is possible to work as a cabin crew while studying to my masters?
Yes, I think so. I had a friend who was doing that. As long as the learning is long distance and you don't have to go to classes you should be fine.
@@TabithaLaker thank you for replying! 🙏🏼
Are you entitled to annual leave working with Ryanair or not as you have days off
Yes, you initially get 20 days of annual leave per year.
For everything else, just make sure you meet the requirements in the job description.
hi tabitha do you need to know airport codes to become cabin crew??
Yes pretty much. The airport codes for the Ryanair network. We had to study that. You also need to know the Phonetic Aviation Alphabet.
Hi Tabitha , I am Daman. I have a question that I am EU ( European union )
Permanent resident and have right to live and work in EU but I don't hold any European passport so can I work in Ryanair? as a flight attendant. I hold an Indian passport with Austrian permanent resident.
That's a good question. Here is the job description for a role in Dublin. You can see if the papers you have match what they are asking for.
careers.ryanair.com/search/#job/1b0a1b
It says in the first bullet point: "Applicants must demonstrate their legal entitlement to work on an unrestricted basis across the EU and / or the UK"
@@TabithaLaker Oh thx , I am glad that I can work in Ryanair just because I have right to work in EU , by the way i am choosing buzz air
I am married to an EU citizen I applied to RyanAir and I got an interview.
Will I be able to become a Cabin Crew if he comes with me to the EU if he comes with me?
Hey! I’m in the same situation as you! Could you still get to work for Ryanair?
Hi Tabitha, great videos! Just wondering about age limits. I have applied and got the interview for next week, but I ´m 52! Do you know?
I think at 52 you should still be able to apply. Just ask yourself if you would be okay with mostly younger colleagues in the cabin sometimes telling you what to do etc. You just have to be very strong-minded to be a cabin crew for Ryanair :) Sorry I am not trying to put you off at all, just letting you know about the reality - which I am sure you may have already considered.
Are your days off always in the city where you’re based?
They are wherever you choose for them to be. Since you are off work, it’s your time and you can travel or just stay home.
Do they provide accommodation for you if you need to relocate?
No you need to find that yourself. Feel free to watch my video about the things you need to pay for and the things that are free ruclips.net/video/YH1Fg1OHYG0/видео.html 😊
Hi I need informations does Rayanair pays the contributions for a future pension ???
Thanks 😊
Hey, I don’t think they do. You need to organise that yourself.
Do you get paid for home standby/ airport standby x
Yes, because it's part of the job. For home standby, your pay is included in your base pay. For airport standby you paid about 30 euros for each shift.
Was it common to have a 4 Sector day or even higher ?
Yes it's pretty common to have 4 setor days, though some bases tend to only have 2-3 sectors. The only bases I've heard about 6 sector days in is Ireland - Probably for short flights between the UK & Ireland.
Do you know if they are fine with having dreads and/or short beard?
I am not sure about dreads (they only recently started accepting braids) but a short beard is totally fine as long as it is neat.
Hey, i got training next week and it says i need to get a crew identification ID to become cabin crew. Do i need this before i go into training or before i become actual cabin crew?
Are you talking about the Crewcode or Airport ID? Crewcode you will get on the first day/or first few days of training, Airport ID you will get on the last day of training or first day at your base (after training).
do you start thursday at stansted?
@@felicitasvt i start the 5th at stansted!
@@SK-oc5ib i start the 10th! when was your interview?
@@felicitasvt the 25th🥰
I want to know if i can apply for the cabin crew job in Ryan Air while I'm not a British resident.
You need to at least have EU residence.
@@TabithaLakerwhat if I'm not?
How often did you get layovers?
Never
So how many hours did you usually do?
It was varied. A day could start at 6am and end at 2pm but for that day you have to wake up at 3am and by the time you get home it is 4/5pm. I was hoping sharing the rosert would explain that.
I have liked it
Kyeyune Mark thanks!
I’m just 11 and I wanna be a Ryanair fight attendant 😫 but I don’t know at what age they can start
You need to be 18 to work for them 😊 Just keep working hard in school and when you get to 18 (if you still want to be a CC) you can apply. And of course apply to other airlines.
Youre stunning 😍
Ahhh Thank you 💖
did you have to pay on your own? Or they payed for you?
I am not sure what you mean. Could you explain? This video is about salary.
Are we allowed to request a day off?
Yes of course
@@TabithaLaker Ok yay! Cos I read reviews where the manager pick days off for the flight attendant 😳
@@Ndubz4ever1 If you do not choose your days off in advance, they will be chosen for you.
Are you based in SXF right?
Just know I was at a Berlin Airport.
@@TabithaLaker I was in SXF airport
@@MallorcaPlaneSpotting were you plane spotting or flying?
@@TabithaLaker flying. I did Planes Spotting once at TXL. Do you have Instagram? We can chat there
Great video! Do you get paid for home standby?
Hi Elliot. Thanks! Yes you get paid, but it is included in your 'base pay'. I will make a video breaking down the salary soon.
😁😁
Do you know if you can work in Ryanair if you're colour blind?
I actually have no idea about this. You should send get in touch with them to find out.
i like to be cabin crew for RYANAIR
All the best on your journey!

Don’t you have to pay something stupid for Ryanair training like £14,000
Nope. In the past it was aout £3000 but now It's free.
Tabitha Laker ahh okay I’m doing a cabin crew and aviation course at college and they told me it was £14,000 to do the training, I did think that was a bit stupid tbh
