      Eurowings ( Lufthansa) pay for your hotel if you are not based where the training is ( almost everyone gets a hotel). Your uniform is free and nothing is taken from your wages for your uniform. You don’t only get a nice hotel including breakfast but they also pay you for taking part in the course. You only have to pay for transport to get to the training centre and home at the end of the course. Flights within the course are paid by eurowings. Really glad about our conditions when I hear all of your experiences.

I would like to chat with folks on the same course so we could possibly arrange accommodation together. (The training is in Poland and they don't provide a hotel assignment like they do on Germany). THank you! Your videos are so inspirational. I'm not 100% sure if Ryanair is for me, but I definitely need to try it before I can judge. I have flown and traveled all over the world, so I enjoy traveling and actually walking through airports :D So I figured if I added a uniform, it might give me another boost of confidence :)

      Glad you found it helpful. I am not sure at what point I said that, but considering the fact that this is the training course video I think the checks I was referencing were the daily checks. So that would be general grooming. Makeup, hair, nails, shoes, 'certificate of competence' (a pretend one for practice purposes), ID. Tattoo and height check is done at the assessment day, which is way before the training course. I hope I have answered your question.

    Hello, Dear. Hope you are well and thanking you for sharing insights in RA. My question if I may, I recently received an online interview this week. But then I have applied for a Post at indeed with an advertisement “Cabin Crew: Training -Manchester”… it is attached to the email a table saying training is on 10/19 and 10/30 at ‘MAN’- i presume its either Maine or Manchester?. They instructed me to do video call first, as mentioned earlier. With this, did they mean , video and base training is at ‘MAN’ or… video call and then physical assesment at Man, and be flown to any base? Thank you in advance

    • @TabithaLaker
      @TabithaLaker  Год назад

      This could just be a standard email template where they plug in information and don't edit per applicant. IF you need to be flown to a base you will be, and if not then you won't. There might be people training with you in Manchester who will then be flown to their base. But if they have told you your training and base are the same then they should be the same - in theory.

    • @TabithaLaker

      You can go to deichmann for a cheap pair or go Clarkes if you want something of a bit better quality, or you can go to one of the 'cabin crew shoes' websites and see what they have avaiilable - but it's more a decision of how high and padded/comfortable you want your shoes rather than where to get them. At Least with these first 2 options you can go and try them on.

You cannot choose which centre because there might not be a course running there at the same time. But you can wait for a course at a later date to the one they initially offer you and it might be at a different location.

Different people have different situations, so you have to assess yours and your reason for wanting a job like this.... You will not get to do overnights in the countries you fly to so you will be working in the aircraft all day with nothing exciting to look forward to - but, this could just be the first step towards something better in the future... This job is an investment because the money clearly sounds very bad but its the experience you're getting in return. Also, you clearly need some savings to begin you cant be living pay check to pay check of you eant to survive. It almost sounds like youre paying to have the job instead of the job paying you.

      You need a bare minimum of 1200 euros to start the job. 1700 euros for a semi-comfortable start. Most applicants would get to know that when offered the position. It's not something particularly difficult, hence why so many people become cabin crew.
