    .............................................
    COMMENT 1: thanks so much for this video it has opened my eyes to what its really like and so helpful
    ANSWER 1: You are welcome! It really does help to know this information beforehand.
    .............................................
    COMMENT 2:Omg this was so helpfull ! Thank you so much , Would you say renting an appartment for around €750 a month in berlin on that salary is liveable ?
    ANSWER 2: Great! Yes it's definitely possible as long as you are frugal/responsible. Transport costs depend on where you live - I think it is between 70-120 euros per month. And I think you can get an apartment for €600 so €750 would be more than enough for somewhere nicer and even closer to the airport if you want that.
    .............................................
    COMMENT 3: hi tabitha do you get paid more for working weekends??
    ANSWER 3: No you do not get extra for weekends (last time I checked). Things could have changed since though.
    .............................................
    COMMENT 4: As you can see on your first month you were on emergency taxes thats why your payment was so low... And in the months after an agreement has been signed between Ryanair and Germany. You did for sure no show or called sick, thats why your basic was different every month. The salary in Germany now is around 1500€-1600€.
    ANSWER 4:I didn't have a single no show - I would never fail to show up at work and I can never understand people who do that. It was probably a late by 3 minutes maximum. If you watch the video you will see that I called in sick - That is highlighted on the payslip too. And yes I can see the first month was emergency taxes because I highlighted that pretty obviously so people would know. My pay was different every month because of the varied flights and home standbys. I don't know a single person who has the exact same pay every month. Good to know the salary is now higher in Berlin, but not everybody will go there since the initial base allocation is at random unless you know someone in the company. I guess that new salary includes the productivity bonus…

    Hey! :)
    Maybe it's a late question but after they told you that you can participate the training course, how long did it take to actually get there? I'm fresh out of highschool, currently looking for jobs and I applied for ryanair's cabin crew post online. I already did the English test which was successful and now I have to send them my cv. Since we have to pay for all expenses, I need to gather money. So if they tell me today (7th of september, 2021) that I can do the training course, how much time do I have to get ready for it?

    • @TabithaLaker
      @TabithaLaker  3 года назад

      The first time was 1 month, but I couldn't go because I had to order a new passport, the second time was a few days once the passport had arrived. If you cannot make a specific training course you can go on the next available one. I don't know what the system is now. Just wait to hear from them, or get in touch and ask. Hope this helps.
