My favourite thing about them is that they keep the crossing statistics more reasonable. Using ordinary wingbacks, a dominant possession team can end up with 70-80 crosses in a match, which never feels realistic.
That is true, yeah I hate these big crossing match games, but sometimes when you only have a TM option it seems like the only route to success.
Dear bustthenet I am a returning player for fm 12 finding real difficult to make a decent tactic. I love starting from lower leagues thats why i took Curzon Ashton and made to league 2. Its my 3rd season in league 2 and im really struggling not making progress really feeling like i am getting worse. I would love if you could take my save and try and make me see my mistakes. Hello, im playin fm20 right now , im using a central midfilder as an inverted wing back and he is basically the key point of my tactic, always creating a 3 men midfield with a 235 in possession , its just op for me
The extra man in transition when you use an IWB is very potent. All he needs are strong physicals and mentals and u are sorted
Could you make a video with 3 defenders in tactics like 5-4-1 and a video about the strikers? What's the best fuction for strikers? I use F9 but he doens't score a Lot.

I think is best to use IWB when u don't have DM they can reduce space in the centre on the pitch to let opposition difficult to break
