I have had lymphedema for 12 years so I am very familiar with most of these and really love the Juzo Strong for sleeves and one of the flat-knit Jobst (I can never remember the names!) for gloves. With all of that said and not asking for medical advice, is there a reason someone who has had approximately 30 lymph nodes removed w/a double mastectomy who developed lymphedema NOT to wear a glove or gauntlet? I was always told by my lymphedema therapists that it is dangerous for fluid to accumulate in the hand and even the custom-made night pieces I have have hand components to them. I am just curious what your personal opinion is regarding the potential for hand lymphedema when one is wearing only a sleeve for lymphedema and never a glove or gauntlet. Thank you very much and it is great to hear about some of the options I have never tried or heard of before!!
This is so helpful! I was surprised when I went to purchase a sleeve that I needed to get a doctors note for the moderate fit. Is that typical everywhere?
Lately I've seen compression gloves sold for arthritis pain relief. What do you think about this? Is this effective or is it a hoax? I would very much appreciate an answer. Thank you
It depends on the level of compression and if it is custom. I also had to wear a lymphedema bra (not mentioned here) which are VERY expensive, but in general, if paying out of pocket for a 20-30mmHg sleeve + glove (gloves are also expensive), I would say you’re probably looking at $200 to start.
It’s 2:05 in the morning, and my wife is having pain in her forearm and fingers. I mention to her that she needs an compression arm sleeve. She starts talking about a Nike sleeve. Can you recommend a good sleeve to purchase?
Thank you Kelly I ordered a sleeve with your discount code! 🙏

I also wear a compression bra - just wondering if this is unusual since this is not mentioned. Thanks again!
