We bought a 2001 A8L for less than 3500$. 310hp and 302tq, plus old school luxury with low miles and a service history was a great buy. The math equates to 10.62$ per Hp. some of the basic maintenance gets pricey, but those older Audi V8s are less problematic and use a timing belt instead of a chain, which makes it less expensive to replace. Outdated luxury is much cheaper than new.
I’ve Spent the last 16 years of my life looking for mustangs or any muscle but since I live in Colorado my parents are making me get a awd and the Volvo at the end is literally what I’ve been looking for
There is another Subaru, a sleeper. The Legacy R Spec B. Available in turbo and Flat 6 format. Rear LSD, 6MT from the WRX Sti, Bilstein Struts, Heated Seats, Dual Climate Control, HID Lights etc all standard, and its reliable (the NA more so than the turbo) - yes I have one, its a belter - my previous car was a 500+ bhp CL55 AMG and this is a better all rounder tbh
My mom owns a Subaru wrx 2016 manual awd 270hp car, I own a Mitsubishi Lancer se limited edition manual fwd 170hp car, both amazing cars my moms car is especially amazing and first car I learned manual in last year when I was 17… gotta say both really reliable cars, every 6000km both cars get oil change $110 Canadian, and my moms car only has a clutch issue which gets replaced every 2 years costs $1500… my car haven’t got it’s clutch replaced yet and been driving it for 6-8 months now. If you over boost your Subaru though that’s when major issues start to happen like head gaskets etc, if you want major tunes you have to upgrade a lot of parts obviously otherwise keeping a Subaru stock it’s really reliable!
The audis did NOT come with a cvt. It is a dual clutch automatic (DSG). Still has the performance of a stick but without having to shift. They are incredibly reliable and can handle an insane amount of torque. Please know what you are talking about before you make an assumption.
