Mine arrived today totally by surprise. Can‘t wait to go for my first ride!
Thanks for the support Jan! Can't wait to see what you think!
Very happy with mine. Well designed and thought out. Very bright!
Thank you for the support and it's great to hear that the Arclights are working out for you!
I get my one today and direct install it.I love it and I’m happy with it.
So glad you are loving the pedals!
Mine are on it's way to The Netherlands. Can't wait to try them and stay safe after a late movie at the cinema.
We can't wait to hear what you think! Thanks for the support!
Heck of a product!
Thank you so much for the support!
Just got mine today! They look awesome!
How bright are they? I'm curious if they'll be noticeable on cloudy days and at dawn/twilight, or if it has to truly be nighttime to get the full effect
Hi Shochet - Happy to hear that everything is working out! Thanks for the support!
KyleMarMac - Great question! The Arclights are very noticeable on cloudy days or at dawn/twilight but I am sure Shochet has some great feedback for you as well!
@@KyleMarMac They're bright enough they should be noticeable in daylight. Absolutely no question they'll get attention on cloudy days or dawn/twilight.
Got mine from Amazon as it seems you don’t ship to the Philippines. Fair price. Took the bike out today with the Arclight pedals, no slippage (using Adidas Velosamba shoes), nice size and good for people who can’t bike using cleats (had knee replacement and risk averse). Great product!
So glad you are enjoying the pedals and sorry that you had issues with shipping to the Philippines - we do ship there through our website and apologize if that was not more clear. Thanks!
why not just state when the spanner is at the top you turn towards the front wheel to tighten and towards the back to loosen works both sides have a nice day
You are absolutely right and that is a great rule of thumb that we use ourselves. Thanks for the helpful comment!
I got the pedals and want to love them; however, my feet keep slipping off of the pedals. I'm wearing flat, rubber soled shoes. Any thoughts???
Hi Ronald - really sorry to hear you are having an issue with traction - definitely not something we are getting lots of feedback on. Happy to help figure it out with you and if needed get you a replacement or do a return/refund - our 90 day guarantee has you covered. Email us at support@redshiftsports.com and we can dig in and help get your sorted out. Thanks!
Is there a way to turn off the standby mode? It’s a bit annoying when they shut off after 30 seconds, and then some of them sometimes won’t turn on after I start pedaling
Hi Ilya, thanks for reaching out! It sounds like there may be an issue with one of your modules. They should all turn back on if in standby mode(or even sleep mode). Can you reach out to support@redshiftsports.com so we can help get this resolved for you?
@@Redshiftsports I’ll do that. Thank you!
All four little orange lights FLASH when they are all inserted into the charger while charging. Is this normal? They are not a steady orange as shown in the video. If I remove one of the four the orange flash becomes steady on the remaining three charging lights. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks
Hi Daniel - thanks for the question and happy to help. It sounds like there might be something going on with the charging hub in which case we can send you a replacement to see if that resolves the issue. Shoot us an email at support@redshiftsports.com and we can get it sorted out for you. Thanks!
How would they do on a recumbent trike?
Hi Bobby - you can certainly use the pedals on a recumbent bike and they will function. But, it will depend on the orientation of the pedals in terms of where the light is cast. The lights are at the front and rear of the pedal so if the pedals are pointed more vertically on the recumbent then it won't provide nearly the same effect that you would get from an upright bicycle since the light would cast down and up instead of front and rear. Thanks
@@Redshiftsports thank you 🙏🏻 for the info so quickly. I truly appreciate it.
1:42 STEP ONE. IMPOSSIBLE. Rotating in this direction causes the crank to keep turning!! You can't get any leverage to loosen it because the crank keeps turning in the direction of the wrench.
Hi Orion - thanks for the comment - you are right that if the force from the wrench is not counteracted somehow you can get the crank to rotate. But, you just need to find that right angle where you can apply force both in rotation and down and through the crank arm to keep things in place. Or you can brace things in another way. The key element that the video is trying to show is the right direction for loosening the pedal since that can be counterintuitive. Thanks!
@@Redshiftsports I looked up a couple of videos in how to remove stuck pedals. None of the techniques work. My pedal is fused to the crank lol.
Really sorry to hear that - the best thing to do is swing by your local bike shop - they likely have some special tools and experience removing lots of stuck pedals and I bet they can help you out easily. Good luck!
@@Redshiftsports Thanks. Yeah I already made an appointment. 🤞
