hey, great video! regarding traction and the pins, did you notice any discomfort because of the pins when riding (especially in sandals)? also on the city version, how slippery are they on everyday rides in the city? I'm wondering which version to get, and if a bit of grip tape on the flat middle section of the city pedal would offer the best of both worlds when all I'm doing is normal on-road cycling (sometimes in wet conditions, though). again, thanks for the video!
I’m a sandal cyclist 100%. I feel them on my bare footing sandals (Eartheunners) but don’t feel the pins with my Bedrock Sandals. I havnt found much slippage with the city versions, but havnt got them through a proper winter yet. I personally like the pro pedals more because of the pins (which you can take on and off) and because of general aesthetics. They look good with or without lights in them!!
Not sure if you know. But Shimano has been making spd sandals for a long time. I've been using spd sandals for at least 20yrs id not more. With the spd sandal you still get strong foot bed vs flip flop
They just look sooooooo ugly. I wish there was a good looking sandal clip in. Regaurdless, I’m hoping to give the Shimano sandals a chance next summer.
