It's such a shame that the US doesn't have annual military parades like most countries do. They have so much to show off. Might be good for recruitment as well.
Main reason why is because in the views of the U.S., it's more associated with dictators showing off their "big scary toys" to the world. However, the last major military parade was after the Gulf Wars, and before that after the end of WW2; but both of these was a celebration of victory.
