I 100% agree on the kids part. My wife and I are holding of until we are in our first home (fingers crossed the market rates drop down a little bit more soon). I want kiddos, but I have nieces that have helped with the buildup and practice of my dad jokes as well as a glimpse of the energy it really takes to keep up.
I gotta say ( old PhlyDaily catchphrase) i really enjoy this second account content. Because, as you said, its a non Gaijin influenced account. Its an account that most of us normal players have. You are having similar skilled crews in comparison to the overal median of War thunder players. I used to rant about how it can be that you perform marvelous and i don't till i realised you had aced crews on basically any vehicle while i was struggeling with recruits. It is great having this change of pace i would say. I really enjoy this more "down to earth" playstile because it just feels a lot more connected to me, in game that is, and i hope that you will be kind enough to let us take part in the "grind" when you find a tank or plane or even ship, that sits quite well at its current BR becasue that will be what most people experience every day. I would definetly watch more second account videos.
