"MoiMoi" is from the Finnish for "Hello/Good-bye".
Yui was asked to guess what that expression meant on the program LoGiRL (#6), and her answer (that Moa enthusiastically agreed with), was that it was a combination of Yui and Moa.
Bonus fact:
Some people might say "Why is it 2 letters from Moa and just one from Yui?". Well, in hiragana alphabet (one of the three systems of japanese writing), Moa and Yui names are written with 2 letters...
もあ (も=Mo - あ=a)
ゆい (ゆ=Yu - い=i)
So, if you take one letter from each name も+い you get "Moi".

A friendship like this doesn't disappear just because they're not performing together. After spending the better part of seven years together and all the shared experiences, the bonds between the girls is very strong. In a candid interview, Su and Moa said they still consider Yui as family. They stay in contact with her and that she has grown in a beautiful young lady - wish we had a picture.
A permanent replacement for Yui has not been named as Su and Moa don't want one. They respect Yui's sacrifices and contribution to the success of Babymetal. Since Yui has left, the bond between Su and Moa has grown even stronger and I don't think either would leave BM voluntarily. In separate interviews Su stated she depends on (and needs) Moa; much to Moa's surprise that Su said this publicly, but not to her in private. Su further stated that together they can achieve anything. Su doesn't want a solo career. Su is the voice of BM, but Moa is its heart.
I wonder what Moa and Yui think when they see this videos from when they were kids have hundreds of thousands of views.
When they watch it, it's probably similar to the Babymetal Commentary videos.
Pretty certain Yui and Moa like attention, etc. in some ways, otherwise why become a model, etc.
They might be surprised by the numbers.

Actually for most of the time Yui was the taller one, Moa had just a short time of being the tallest, which she made the most of.

I was born in the 90's but grew up in the 2000's however I did grew up watching a lot of 90's show so I definitely remember that disney sparkles haha.

i have a theory :
i think the reason Yui is not in Babymetal anymore is because she get taller than Su , check the last performances of Yui on Babymetal and you can tell she was almost Su's high . it's what i think :) cheers!
It's a possibility, however I lean more towards it not being the main reason she left BM. Momoko is about, if not the same, height as Su. With Su being able to wear heightened/elevated shoes while the Avengers can remain using flat shoes, the height issue might not be it. I could be wrong though and Yui might be at least 5'4" now.
@@marloforreal Su is around 160 cm or 5'3".
Momoko is 162 cm.
I sincerely doubt that height has anything to do with Yui leaving BABYMETAL.
@@rickwagner- Yui is in training with JAXA to become Astronaut Mizuno Yui, to fulfill her long held dream of one day going to space, the clues are in her farewell note. It is so obvious IDK why people keep speculating other reason for her leaving BABYMETAL 😉
