They are a sub unit of Sakura Gakuin but have been around since before SG was formed. It was absorbed into Sakura Gakuin as a "cooking club" sub unit. Yui, Moa, and Hana are the second generation of Mini Pati. All their songs have an 8-bit sound and their songs are about food. (Thank you Captain Obvious). As this group is a subunit of SG, it was at the same time as Babymetal in the Heavy Music Club. Who would've thought metal heads would be listening to kids music AND actually enjoying it. Now you know why SG became so popular.

The girls are very talented, but I often feel people don't give enough credit to Babymetal's and Sakura Gakuin's music composers. They are true masters of creating really good music.

You get to see Moa and Yui in their graduating year, along with the whole SG crew of that year. Not only is the music video just bursting with cuteness, the song is actually catchy as all hell too.
"Mini-Patissier" is French for "mini pastry chef". It was like an extracurricular activity at their Sakura Gakuin school/group. Notice that when they sing "1,2,3" and "A,B,C" they sing it in French...

It was the longest running sub-group that lasted from 2010 to 2016 with Moa, Yui & Hana being the members of Mini-Pati from 2011-2014. This performance took place at Shibuya-AX on 4/30/13 about a month after Suzuka graduated from Sakura Gakuin. Mini-Pati was one of the most popular sub-groups of Sakura Gakuin besides Babymetal. They have a total of 9 songs, 5 of which were done by Moa, Yui & Hana. My favorite one is probably "Shanari Hannari Dorayaki Hime" which means (I'll try my best to translate this) "graceful, elegant dorayaki princess". Int - *Song 4 is a song that was improvised by MOAMETAL and YUIMETAL in a moving car, which is a funny episode from those early days* Moa - _Song 4 was written for fun, and the dance moves were also focused on fun, so it’s interesting to see how it eventually turned out, overflowing with BABYMETAL’s sense of fun. I think of BABYMETAL as a group that “plays with itself”. SU-METAL and I were talking about this the other day - even after 10 years, we want to hold onto this spirit of fun, and avoid pigeonholing ourselves into a “mold” of BABYMETAL. That’s why I want to create another song like Song 4. I’ve always been good at making up lyric replacements! I’d like SU-METAL to give me a prompt, and I’ll improvise a song - I feel it should be a song about food. I’ll leave the metal elements of this “Fried Chicken Song” to the sound guys. They were even the opening act at the final Karen Girl's concert in March 2009 (Su's first pro group). Mini-Pati became one of the first sub-groups, or clubs once Sakura Gakuin started in 2010 since all three original members joined SG. Moa, Yui and Hana were in the second generation of Mini-Pati in Sakura Gakuin (2011-2014). BABYMETAL's supporting dancer (avenger) Momoko was in the third and final generation (2015-2017). Just to be clear, Yui and Moa were members of "The Heavy Music Club" BABYMETAL in Sakura Gakuin well before they became Mini-Pati members in SG.

A patissier is a pastry chef. So Mini Pati = Small Chef. Nothing to do with hamburgers. Mini Pati has a whole bunch of songs about food. Hana Taguchi is the third girl, was in Sakura Gakuin with Yui and Moa, and is the same age and friends with them both. She is currently an entertainer at the Amuse Cafe, she was apprenticed there at graduation. I have seen her promote other shows lately, my Japanese is not great. Yui said that running backwards on stage likey did in the beginning (she was last) was some of the hardest choreograpghy she's done.
Hana's group Torahime Ichiza finished its long run at the Amuse Cafe Theater in July 2019. They decided to change up the theater entertainment with the start of the new Reiwa era. I believe that Saya Hirai, the former BABYMETAL support dancer, is still a Torahime Ichiza member. They are still hoping to reopen at some point in a new location. Hana left the group when their Amuse Cafe run ended.

LVT happy second b-day. :-) Mini-Pati is for 'mini-patissiere' aka pastry chef. A little group which was created to promote eating certain foods for the Japan's ministry of agriculture. The group sings about food in general, not just pastry. Which is a bit odd, but probably just the usual 'Engrish' mistranslattions that are common in Japan. Yui and Moa (while in Sakura Gakuin and Babymetal at the same time) are part of the second generation. The first generation actually existed before Sakura Gakuin, but because a sub-unit similar to Babymetal. What is interesting. Babymetal's 'Kobametal' was involved in Mini-Pati before Sakura Gakuin, so it has been speculated tat he might have been the one that came up with the 8-bit game music theme.

She worked at Amuse Theater and Cafe in Asakusa Tokyo for several years after graduation, I got to see her perform there several times when visiting Tokyo. She is currently studying and working occasional entertainment jobs as a actress/singer.

The first generation of Mini-Pati (Marina, Nene & Raura) existed before Sakura Gakuin began.
They were even the opening act at the final Karen Girl's concert in March 2009 (Su's first pro group).
Mini-Pati became one of the first sub-groups, or clubs once Sakura Gakuin started in 2010 since all three original members joined SG.
Moa, Yui and Hana were in the second generation of Mini-Pati in Sakura Gakuin (2011-2014).
BABYMETAL's supporting dancer (avenger) Momoko was in the third and final generation (2015-2017).
Just to be clear, Yui and Moa were members of "The Heavy Music Club" BABYMETAL in Sakura Gakuin well before they became Mini-Pati members in SG.
And the closing song with Karen Girl's at the final concert. :-) (with Yui in the audience !)
The 3rd girl is taguchi hana..they where a sub unit group from the group called sakura gakuin..babymetal started as a heavymetal sub unit of sakura gakuin too..mini paty was active until 2014, when yui and moa graduated from the group.
Mini-Pati's third and final generation was 2015-2017.
Members were Aiko Yamaide (pink), Momoko Okazaki (yellow), and Marin Hidaka (green).
Yes, she is often seen in the subtitled videos class general knowledge or Kanji tests, and is one of the funnier girls. The best of those videos is when Moa unexpectedly comes second and is delirious with joy.
Hana Taguchi is a huge pro-wrestling fan as well, that she and her friend Rinon asked to form a Pro-Wrestling subunit in Sakura Gakuin.

A patissier is a pastry chef. So Mini Pati = Small Chef. Nothing to do with hamburgers. Mini Pati has a whole bunch of songs about food.
Hana Taguchi is the third girl, was in Sakura Gakuin with Yui and Moa, and is the same age and friends with them both. She is currently an entertainer at the Amuse Cafe, she was apprenticed there at graduation. I have seen her promote other shows lately, my Japanese is not great.
Yui said that running backwards on stage likey did in the beginning (she was last) was some of the hardest choreograpghy she's done.
Hana's group Torahime Ichiza finished its long run at the Amuse Cafe Theater in July 2019.
They decided to change up the theater entertainment with the start of the new Reiwa era.
I believe that Saya Hirai, the former BABYMETAL support dancer, is still a Torahime Ichiza member.
They are still hoping to reopen at some point in a new location.
Hana left the group when their Amuse Cafe run ended.

Mini-Pati is for 'mini-patissiere' aka pastry chef. A little group which was created to promote eating certain foods for the Japan's ministry of agriculture. The group sings about food in general, not just pastry. Which is a bit odd, but probably just the usual 'Engrish' mistranslattions that are common in Japan.
Yui and Moa (while in Sakura Gakuin and Babymetal at the same time) are part of the second generation. The first generation actually existed before Sakura Gakuin, but because a sub-unit similar to Babymetal. What is interesting. Babymetal's 'Kobametal' was involved in Mini-Pati before Sakura Gakuin, so it has been speculated tat he might have been the one that came up with the 8-bit game music theme.
at 7:35, LVT was dead by their too much cuteness. We say it Moe-shinda (萌え死んだ) in Japanese 😍.

Well, if you don't smile to both ears while watchin SG clips, you're not human! Keep it going and lose your mind! We love them, no matter in what SG nendo...even recently watched an SG theatrical performance called "The murder of Mori sensei", I believe it was from 2018 or 19- Laughed my freakin a.. off. Such a pity they will close soon.

Yui and Moa here two weeks after their sold out BABYMETAL Budokan show. They remained in the Idol school two years after Su graduated.
Part of the reason this song is so good and catchy is because it was composed and arranged by Ryuichi Sakamoto, legendary and prolific composer, solo artist, and member of the Yellow Magic Orchestra, a band which has been hugely influencial in defining the J-Pop musical style since the 1970's. He has released probably close to 50 albums, and many singles and collaborations, everything from pop to classical, etc.

I don't know what she does now but i'm pretty sure she would be a succesful woman if she wants it.
She worked at Amuse Theater and Cafe in Asakusa Tokyo for several years after graduation, I got to see her perform there several times when visiting Tokyo. She is currently studying and working occasional entertainment jobs as a actress/singer.
I must correct myself Moa wasn't holding hamburger with several hamburger patties it was two hamburger buns with about eight chicken patties between them but still the girl loves her food 🤣
