Dead Space 1 was a breath of fresh air for us gamers starved for survival-horror action. Dead Space 2 made numerous improvements, but also had some regressions. My personal favorite of the series. At on point EA was negotiating for a license, kind of a rumour so persistent and certain hints popped up, I believe it was a LinkenIn resume. Anyway, Visceral was tasked with making this game based on this IP and so they made a prototype. EA failed to secure the IP and so they had this rather good game from Visceral, so they just reworked it a bit. This IP was System Shock. If EA had secured those rights, this would have been the new System Shock. No joke.
I love the dead space series to death, I was devastated when EA killed Visceral games, my only real complaint about the first game was the narrative was tedious at times, it was mostly just "Issac, go do this, Isaac go fix this thingy over there, Isaac go check out that scary noise." And I had completely forgoton Isaac even had a gf until the game reminds me, still though I give it the absolute highest 9/10👍 P.S- When is there gonna be a remaster/trilogy edition?
The Developer (Visceral) already had plans for Dead Space 4, and they said that they were going to go for an open-world where the playable character had to search through space and investigate many derelict space-ships in order to scavenge for supplies & equipment. It sounded awesome. Unfortunately, EA cancelled its development and closed the Development studio down. R.I.P. Visceral. You (& Dead Space) will be sorely missed.
You played Dead Space a game that requires accurate aiming with a controller? On a PC, where you have the option to use a mouse................which would already make dealing with multiple enemies a lot easier.

I've tried using a processor parking utility, to no avail.
Edit: I FINALLY GOT IT RUNNING! I just needed to limit my CPU to 10 processors using MSConfig. EA even confirmed the issue.

Very professional review of a great classic.
Dead space and uncharted 2 , I played them once or twice a week. When I get really drunk nothing else comes to my mind besides these games. Did I say drunk!? I meant jolly
I remember as a kid, I was so scared and unnerved by this game I got anxious just holding the disk and the main menu had me feeling a constant chill. My favorite mission is the USM Valor. Those Twitchers are forever burned into my memory and still freaked me out on my recent playthrough.
Subbed!
Such a good horror game gods does were the days
Am I the only one who just used the Plasma Cutter and Pulse Rifle for weapons?
Nah line gun ftw. But pulse is good too
@@themarcshark See, I guess I just never really got into the other weapons that were available. I'm gonna try and get a feel for the rest of the weapons at a later date.
If I loved dead space, would I enjoy the Resident Evil 2 remake?
How convenient, I literally finished playing the trilogy yesterday. Great video as usual, keep up the good work.
No joke.
I was 14 when Dead Space came out… it was terrifying. Also took me a year to beat from our scared I was lol.
I love the dead space series to death, I was devastated when EA killed Visceral games, my only real complaint about the first game was the narrative was tedious at times, it was mostly just "Issac, go do this, Isaac go fix this thingy over there, Isaac go check out that scary noise." And I had completely forgoton Isaac even had a gf until the game reminds me, still though I give it the absolute highest 9/10👍
P.S- When is there gonna be a remaster/trilogy edition?
The Developer (Visceral) already had plans for Dead Space 4, and they said that they were going to go for an open-world where the playable character had to search through space and investigate many derelict space-ships in order to scavenge for supplies & equipment. It sounded awesome. Unfortunately, EA cancelled its development and closed the Development studio down. R.I.P. Visceral. You (& Dead Space) will be sorely missed.
I still miss this franchise. At least it had a decent triligy (yeah i know the third one wasn't as good but that was mostly ea's fault).
Have you thought about reviewing the fallout games or even dark souls?
Yes. Open world games take time so we need to be prepared. We just suck at Dark Souls.
Dead space 4 -make us whole
I’ve played it once and will never come back. Too much stress on my nerves because of jumpscarce 🤣 Great game!
i feel you buddy
You played Dead Space a game that requires accurate aiming with a controller?
On a PC, where you have the option to use a mouse................which would already make dealing with multiple enemies a lot easier.
Well the port does have mouse issues. But, yes.
Plasma cutter only runs c:
Now u gotta play Dead Space 2!
The hunter always scared the living shit out of me!
too bad for DS2 doesn't have the Severed DLC.. least on Steam
Love this game
