His advice there, in the end, is so precious. I hope it rings a bell for some kids who are trying to bowl leg spin. I wish I had heard this too when I was a kid trying to figure out leg spin. I saw one Shane Warne masterclass video and I stopped doing everything I was doing and started to do what worked for him, instead of what worked for me. Even in the videos, Warne himself would say, you gotta do what's comfortable for you. But I'd skip past all that and try to learn all his tricks and fail and get frustrated. Instead of doing what Rashid just said, which is focus on yourself -- and you can apply that to everything in life.
Took me a good few years to come to the same conclusion and now I bowl so much better.
Everyone talking about his age only, needs to get a life. No matter how old he is, he is still the best bowler in T20 and you don't need to be 20 year old or 30 year old to be that. Just shut up and enjoy what he offers.

The reason the age thing matters is because south Asian teams cheat in U19 cricket by using more experienced players in their 20s. It’s fine that Rashid lies about his age now. Who cares? But at the younger level it matters. Only the subcontinental teams cheat like this

It's so great to see Marcus Trescothick back in the spotlight. I don't know exactly what it was but he would have anxiety with the pressure of playing at the international level. He was an explosive player and he's had an amazing county career, who is always a delight to watch.

@@hadi878 Yep, Rashid is alright at the longer form but the speed he bowls at is much more dangerous if you're trying to take him on. He also bowls slightly shorter which means you can gat back and read him off the pitch

He is not 21 his real age is 25 plus ..
He is as old as Muttiah Muralitharan, but because of his great genetics he looks young enough to be his own son. He is very smart since he knew that he played in the era of Murali & Warne there were many great batsmen and Afghanistan didn't have a good domestic competition and no T20 cricket, so he waited till Sehwag & Clarke retired in 2015 so that the competition is much weaker, he could finally take advantage so he bought a fake date of birth certificate and convinced everyone in his family to tell that he is 17 not 43 if any authority ever asks them. Then he finally started playing cricket and quickly rose a world class spinner playing with players young enough to be his kids.
His actual age is 48 but his fake age is 22, he is extremely smart and cunning. In Pakistan and Afghanistan most players fake their age to take advantage, since you can easily buy fake birth certificates for decent money.
