Baseball with it's unique widely placed seams would be a treat to watch on abrasive and green wickets where the ball spins/seams after bouncing on the seam. Would be interesting to see how the ball behaves in a cricket match.
It would probably degrade quickly as baseball pitchers ask for a new ball every time it touches the ground

@@ZacharyRamsey-py7ftbaseballs are reasonably durable. they don’t switch the ball because of degradation exactly but because scuffs and dirt can change how it grips and spins. i think it’s a rule in the mlb, which is why you see catchers hand the ball to the umpire. otherwise pitchers might like to use a scuffed ball, as one of the most common forms of cheating in baseball is pitchers applying an illegal foreign substance to the ball
