One of the cleanest bowling actions in world cricket. So consistent for England especially in tests . He's picked up 485 Scalps in tests . And his ability to swing the ball in most pitches both ways is unbelievable. When he's hung up his boots he'll be one of the best ever to do it for England .
i generally thought Stuart Broad was a bit arrogant, but this video has changed my mind, seems like a nice bloke and I would personally love to get a bowling masterclass from him.
A nice way to show that professionals always look for ways to improve. Once they find something that works, they don’t just stick to it and do that same thing for the rest of their careers. Respect to Broady, hope to meet him again.
It might not need to be specific, just showing ways to talk to a coach about new ideas and concepts is enough to engage a player about how to challenge themselves to be better.
@@redwanhussain5965 his "non bowling hand positioning" is awful You need to aim with your non bowling arm His points towards third man But it works for him He's a legend almost 500 test wickets wow
When ever I look at Stuart Broad I think of just how proud his father must be of him, especially as he has succeeded so well as a bowler rather then a batter and so clearly in his own right. I think of how proud I would be of my own son, who is a good hard hitting batsman, once scoring 78 not out off of 21 balls, but maybe not quite as good as myself at 15, but an infinitely better bowler then I ever could have been. He is already 6:3 has shoulders wider than my own, and scares the crap out of me when he comes charging in, although I never admit it. He has been playing with an adult 2nd 11 for already 2 seasons. The thing is, I TAUGHT him most of what he does, and I'm not even a bowler, indeed hardly ever did any. I sometimes think that maybe his enthusiasm for bowling stems from his desire to knock my head off, as he seems to bowl his fastest, and shortest only at me. Perhaps, just perhaps this was also young Stuarts major motivations when he was learning his craft. I would love to ask him.

That's one reason why T20s are not the best career choice for a bowler. In IPL especially, to see bowlers of stature like Share Warne, Anil Kumble, Muttiah etc be whacked around the park by unknown Ranji players is a shame.
