First time watching battles in a while. This was incredible. I wish I hadn't been weak willed at the end of my run. Me and Quill would have made a classic. He probably would have cooked me in the state I was in but still, give the man his flowers. Consistent and creative as fuck. Truly sorry for any damage I caused but I can say from a much better place now, I wish all the best for Quill, premier battles and the whole scene. UK battle rap is in good hands

I love it when Quill is fired up. The passion and aggression makes him top tier. Also a big up the event. Its great having battlers on stages together and a hyped crowd. Was like Quill threw everyone a bouquet, they were all gonna be engaged.
The energy in this one was insane, I have Quill edging it but I think this was a lot closer than people are saying, also one of the greatest English vs Irish battles ever in my opinion, Vizual did himself proud.

Watched this live, it’s was incredible. Not been to a event in about 6 years but it felt like uk battle rap was back.
I'm enjoying this era of Quill. He feels like he's let go and decided to just go for it with performance. Brought out a shovel versus Moak, if I recall. Magician stuff this time. It worked for me. The UK scene needs more big performers to elevate everything, in my book.

This was a tough one for Viz, but he deserves his props for one of his best ever performances against an on-form Quill.
I was in the crowd trying to watch this critically. Viz predicted Quill would do gimmicks (and said so in his bars), which is what Quill did.
But Quill’s gimmickry/performance was effective with the crowd. It captivated them and meant his material hit harder with them.
Viz had the better pen consistently and wrote more directly towards Quill (a textbook approach among the core Prem roster), whereas Quill had pockets of VERY sharp, focused writing scattered across his rounds.
In that room it was 2-1 edge to Quill on grounds of style. A different room mightn’t have fucked with Quill to the same extent and Viz would’ve edged it in that circumstance. Very much a preference match.

Was a sick clash big up both man..Vizual was decent, some good punches etc but he’s not on the level of Quill. The energy from Quill was mad on this one.. relentless energy and fire bars from start to finish, has to be 3-0🔥🔥

Tough battle to judge this one. I don't normally like to sit on the fence but I'd be tempted to call this a draw 🤷♂️ I think Quill took the 1st & Viz took the 3rd so it comes down to the 2nd round for me. The crowd definitely slept on Viz. Not a big fan of gimmicks personally but Quill had some good bars mixed in with it. It's good to see some UK battle rap rivalries forming. We need them to keep the UK scene alive and elevate the hype for these battles again. Would like to see Quill v Gemin1 soon 👀

Nothing negative to say about Vizusl but for me it's a clear cut 3-0 to Quill.
In all aspects from presence to bars Quill was just on it from start to finish and when he's like that he's very difficult to beat.
If Quill v Shotty happens I've got to back Quill to dispose of Shotty just like Shuffle did.

It’s not for me. The dressing up, pouring water of yourself etc is a guise for mediocre writing. Also putting on the stupid outfit whilst your opponent is trying to deliver a round is poor sportsmanship, we’ll down to viz for continuing to deliver so well during that and calling out the shit amongst it all as well
@Don Shlugga I 100% agree with you about the changing outfit whilst the other man is delivering their lines - not what I'd expect from an opponent and well done to Vizual for not being distracted by it - it could cause a lesser performer to lose their place in which bars come next.
I think the gimmicks are very risky too and most people will be split on if they prefer it or not.
