I love this bracelet. Classic pearls and timeless leather, both of which improve the more they're worn. I just made one for my granddaughter's birthday. It allows me to continue a family tradition of giving pearls to our granddaughters, but it's not too formal and stuffy for today's teens. Love Love Love!!! Thank you once again, Kellie.

Kellie I've made a few Baroque pearl ( largeholed pearls ) bracelets with 1.5 metallic leather , barrel knots in between each one ...without using Irish waxed linen.it looks beautiful ..two strands go into the pearl , meaning two cords each one is a 1.5 mm ..just a thought my friend because we used to not be able to get large hole pearls but now u can get them at Hobby Lobby and Amazon

This will also be a great way to use special lampwork beads if you aren't a pearly girl.
I have found that using a foam macreme board really helps keep my cores from moving around.

@@KelliesBeadBoutique Dear Kellie, I did exactly what you suggested, and I practised my square knots on a very ugly length of green rat tail cord I had in my stash, and I've mastered them, yay! Then I made a nice collar for my cat, using brown leather cord and silver beads, as well as a couple of silver heart shaped charms, which she seems to like, LOL!!! I put the charms on it because they clink together when she prowls around the garden trying to sneak up on the birds, so now they can hear her and fly off to safety!!! The leather cord I used for the collar is now really soft and supple from being next to my cat's skin all the time, so it seems that the oil from our skin is really good for leather, who knew??? I didn't, but I'm pleased about it 😀! Thanks again Kellie, for all your wonderful videos and help

Hi Kelly, I finished the leather and knot portion of the Floating Pearl Bracelet and found that I had a lobster clasp but no crimp ends and jump rings. I grabbed some silver wire and tools and formed my own crimp ends and jump rings. WuHoo, got it done with what I had on hand. Thank you for your excellent tutorials. Is there a way to send a picture?

You could try and do a macrame knot over the ends. Lots of video s from other creators on how to do that.

No it’s 2mm leather.
