Love this tutorial, I have always liked this technique but never considered using seed beds for it. Definitely make one like this and quite fancy doing some in pastel and bright colours. You never cease to inspire me xx

Kellie, thanks so much for another great tutorial! I just completed this bracelet, and it is more beautiful in person! The only challenge I faced was trying to watch and re-watch the barrel knot piece; knots are new to me, and although mine didn’t turn out as beautiful as yours, the lightbulb clicked, and voila! I learned something new!

Awesome! Sometimes just repeating them over and over is a great way to learn. Take an old piece of cord and just make a knot then undo it and repeat. It’s easier to practice on something you don’t care about. I’m glad you had success!
I just came across your channel tonight and I absolutely love your designs and your way of teaching, thank you so much for sharing!! I love knotted jewelry but it takes me forever because knots are difficult for me. Loving your barrel knots and the tube you use, so genius!! I had pretty much given up on knotting tightly between beads but with your way of using the tweezers in other videos, I have some hope again lol. I'm a recent subbie and have been creating jewelry for about 17 years. I love the leather bracelets as I have teenage grandchildren and this is what they like. I've done the cuff with leather but these designs will be more to their liking. You have some beautiful designs!

I make a version of this bracelet too! I call it a "zipper bracelet". I've done it with 2-ply, but also with 3-ply and 4-ply. Love it! I like your version here with the connector hear! Gonna try that out too!

I love the "barrel knot" technique - very easy to do and it makes the leather sit nicely and not seem so bunched up like with a lark's head knot/overhand knot. Awesome! This is a great bracelet design - it reminds me of the "Bollywood" bracelet (see beadshop.com tutorial on RUclips) that's done with macramé . I'm making some of these leather "Vertebrae" bracelets for friends - very cool! Love your vids!

I love your barrel knot, it’s so easy I feel dumb for not knowing it. Everything I’ve learned, I’ve learned on my own, until I stumbled onto you. Thanks..
Also, I’ve used this technique using 8mm Swarovski crystals and wire. Super fast (I make 5 bracelets an hour) and make I get good money for them.
It took me a long time to figure out but once I got the tube involved it made life easier.
