Heroes of Might and Magic IV is a turn-based strategy game developed by Gus Smedstad through New World Computing and published by the 3DO Company for Microsoft Windows-based personal computers in 2002. A Macintosh port was subsequently developed by Contraband Entertainment and released by the 3DO Company. The fourth installment of the popular Heroes of Might and Magic franchise, it is the sequel to Heroes of Might and Magic III, and was the last to be developed by New World Computing.
Conclusion: Cyclops and Genie are op, and the Ogre mage sucks ass.
finally, i would love to see more of these fraction vs fraction
wow a return of this! Nice! But when can we expect more gold equivalents fights?
Sure! will start that tomorrow - lvl 2 gold equivalent.
finally, some good content !
It's interesting that army, that has cyclops almost always wins, broken Cyclops!
Well, technically, they are shooters who don't get retaliation from enemy shooters due to their aoe attacks, which already makes them quiete a threat. And trying to shoot them down yourself is going to be a problem as well due to aoe attacks. Not to mention their raw power. Cyclops are just really good. Probably the best unit in the entire facion.
does this mean that there are still 59 videos on this topic ahead about EVERY combinations of races and creatures?!

Talk about David and Goliath.
I like how titans just go with "screw that, I'm a melee unit🗿" and simply wreck everything around them
Btw my guessing for next 2 lines where Golem and Naga are present is that they are gonna lose every match against Stronghold.... unless the Ogre mage...🤦
It's strange how AI never cast create illusion on tier 4 units, that's what I'd do. There is enough of them to do this.
The genies have song of peace, so they shouldn't lose that badly to cyclops.
As far as I know the power of might lies in their numbers. Is breeding pen included in this test?
no, but it is still quite good. Berserkers kick ass.
Thats the neat part: if we add breeding pen then why not add grandmaster nobility to order units? Then why not add summoning portal to preserve? Makes this untestable.
@@some4el yeah right. Maybe I can assume that since Might won a couple of fight without the building, they would win almost all the fights in this context. This test is a good basic foundation.
I strongly recommend not even watching combats when bloody Ogre mage is present... Still can't decided what is sadder: dumb+bad Ogre mage or dumb+OP Genie
Btw I guess Ogre mage was buffed in Equilibris. IMO in base H4 he should cast 1x Bloodlust per turn without spending action.
They indeed got upgraded in Equi with more spells: Power drain, Spell shackle, Snake strike, Sparks aside from bloodlust. But spell point were lowered from 6 to 5. And if I remember correctly, if the amount of ogres is 25+, they can cast mass bloodlust (as well as genies can cast mass slow). And with these spells, especially with first strike, they actually become a good support unit. The problem is that you probably don't need more than like 3 of them divided in 3 slots for all the spellcasting.
These videos are great, but it's painful sometimes to see the terrible AI choices.
Oh boy dont say just watch mechadragon - he is just terrible!
