- I was only there for a couple of hours monday june 16th 2003.i arrived at the park around 9.00am & left around 1 or 2pm that day.these are all my videos that i took the couple of hours that i was there monday june 16th 2003.
Batman the ride is at the beginning
Mega zeph is at 10.23
The jester is at 16.17
Road runner express is at 21.59
Spillway splashout is at 26.47
Ozarka splash is at 31.24
Sonic slam and bayou blaster is at 33.22
Mirror is at 39.23
Photos that i took outside of the park before the gates opened up is at 39.40
*Happy cry*. Because I live in Canada....all I saw was the website and....when it was underwater on the news. This park was so beautiful and ive been a fan of it for years! This made my day! Oddly enough, my Six Flags, Six Flags LaRonde, has almost the same layout and is still in operation. So many similarities. The man made lake looks the same too. The only difference is we have a monorail that goes around the park due to it being the site of the former Expo 1967. Whenever I visit my park I get chills just thinking about it being almost exactly the same size as the former Six Flags New Orleans.
I still have my Jazzland/Six Flags ID card from 2003. I was 8 lol
I have my six flags one. I spelled my name with two "ii"s instead of a "y". Lol.
This is from 2003 but has a 90s vibe to it.

Hmm, let's think here...maybe because 2003 was only 3 years after the 90s.
It took me forever to build the courage to ride The Batman. I finally rode it in the pitch black night with some strangers. It was a husband and wife in their 60s, a white couple. And they convinced my black ass to get on with them. I was 13. Wow. Nostalgia.
And to think I've been on Kinda Ka and Fury as an adult.

@@user-mt4ln8bn7t I'm over than 30 and younger than 35. I stood at the entrance of the line just watching. They saw me and coerced me to get on it with them and I did.
I just watched that new documentary from 2020 about the park and it was fantastic but very hard to watch

@@382kingdaka I’ve never been to Six Flags New Orleans but it’s sad how the park sits abandoned since hurricane Katrina destroyed everything there. It’s nice to see the videos thank you for sharing.

Stupid Kieran Burke not caring to rebuild the park... I actually WENT here in 2004/5. I liked Catwoman's Whip. Is that in this video?
There was no point in rebuilding the park as it simply wasn’t making enough money and for how much was destroyed during the flooding it would of costed the six flags millions
