  • Let's Practice! in this new series you play guitar in an organized method. We play the E minor/G Major pentatonic scale in all 5 patterns. It happens at 60 bpm and is done as eighth notes, triplets and sixteenth notes. It is a tremendous way to spend 5 minutes of your time.

Hey! really love your videos, but a quick question, how do I know where to start each of the patterns?

Great question! They overlap, so where #1 ends is the start of #2. For this video #1 is open to 3rd fret, #2 is 3rd to 5th fret, #3 is 5th to 7th frets, #4 is 7th to 10th and #5 is 10th to 12th and it all starts over again w #1.

When I first watched the video , I asked myself “Why do I need this?” Then I tried to play along with you on the video, now I know why I needed it. Thanks!
