Appreciated the lesson. Been working on playing the changes 👍
@@Wendell309 thank you!
Nice mate
I like the way you simplify things. You have a good way of communicating.
Thank you so much. I really appreciate it. Keep Playing!
Took me a while. (I'm slow) After viewing your videos a few times, the guide tones finally clicks. Play with Am -> A7, Dsus2 ->D, etc. Thank you.
Thank you for watching and sticking w it
This switched on a few lightbulbs for me. You’re a good teacher and I thank you for giving us your insights. Please keep up the good work. Your generosity is making a difference with a lot of your viewers
I have to keep going over these basics, they just don't seem to stick!!!
@@kc8923Keep going over - it will stick
Thank you so much, glad they are helping
Great lesson blues man. Thank you. Some more please.
Thank you and will do
Fantastic stuff!
Thank you!
brilliant lesson! Thanks a lot !!
Thanks for watching, keep playing!
As always, a great lesson... Thanks... don
Thank you Don, hope all is ok in Texas w you
Thanks for all the useful tidbits. Those guide tones can really be heard in the beginning of Rock and Roll. What I've been using way too much IMO is dropping to the flat seventh right before the chord change. A three note chromatic descent. Classic phrase. Thanks again. Subscribed.
Thank you so much, glad to have you. Keep Playing!
Excellent!
Thank you!
Thank you ❤
How do you know which notes in the minor pentatonic scale are the guide tones? The guide tones are the chord tones of the IV and V chord that aren't in the minor pentatonic scale? I'm confused what is the differences between common tones VS guide tones?
Start w the 5 notes of the scale and match and adjust for each respective chord tone. Guide tones are a way of connecting the chord tones
@@LeadGuitarWorkshop guide tones are only by half step? Or only by whole step? To connect to chord tones
@@waynegram8907 either, smaller sounds strong but u can do bigger intervals too
@@LeadGuitarWorkshop make a lesson about guide note lines and how to create guide note lines in chord progressions.
