What do you do when you want to take a guitar solo? This video takes a look at the decisions you make as a musician and a guitar player to help you not only play a good solo, but have different options as well. You must provide your own body and soul for the full effect as these are only craft and tool based ideas in music and on the guitar. @GodinGuitarsOfficial @SingularSoundOfficial @boss #guitarlesson #guitartutorial #leadguitar

I completed the course and I learned a lot and I've come a long way in a short period of time but I have been having trouble soloing over the different chord changes. I knew what I had to do I just didn't know how to go about it. What you just covered is exactly what I have been looking for. This is out of my pay grade, but I woke up this morning thinking exactly as he described in the first topic. First, be a musician and then a guitar (ukulele) player. I have Aural Aphantasia, so I probably will never be a musican, and I doubt there will ever be a waiting line of bands asking me to join. So what, I'm geeking out on music theory to try to learn the piano and my fretboard.
I was frustrated that my fretboard didn't have black keys. But I put postit notes on my piano, and now my piano has strings. This really helps to understand intervals, and explains why there is an option around E in the circle of fifths patterns on the guitar or uke.
Despite my frustration, I think this is probably the most important video I've seen. So much crammed into a 16 minute video. Merci beaucoup.
