Your previews and reviews are great. Well done. I am curious if you have played HexploreIT, which is in the same genre and truly superb, and even a bit better in my opinion.

Thank you, appreciated. I've not that, but it is on my radar as one to certainly check out. Are there different editions/versions?

@@NinjaGeekGames - to my knowledge, everything is current at the moment, with many, many expansions and even a new one on Gamefound in June (mountains of Godai). I’ve found the content to be superb and the publishers are constantly iterating and interacting with community quite well. I suspect that if you like Euthia, you’ll love this game.

Nah it's not better in my opinion because it is a co-op game and that alone makes it a very different game, its just another co-op campaign that takes even more time than Euthia and as a result even harder to get it on the table ...

@@Berndr - no, it is specifically designed and optimized for solo play, and the publisher has stated time and time again that this is their primary focus, but co-op is indeed viable as well.

Dang. I was hoping they would create a campaign mode with the new expansion.

I do love the idea of Euthia, but the gameplay is long, player's turns take so long that if playing with 4 people, 4th player can literally take a nap till his turn comes again ... I wish they made combat faster too, as well as the player turns, wish the game was designed so players were only allowed to use one disk only per turn to speed up the game ...

Alternating actions between players is a good idea...have you tried this?

@@NinjaGeekGames Yes it's the only way my friends will play it...
      Action Disks:
So what we do is allow only one action disk but as many other skills from your equipment, this forces players to be more strategic about what skills on their equipment they need, usually boot to allow them to move again ... we also allow discarding an action disk and skip your turn to heal and get gar tokens, we call it camping ... this one is very welcomed rule because it also speeds up the game flow... you do get back any unspent move points, there are boots tokens that can be used just for this purpose ...
      Re-rolling:
We do not allow re-rolling, constant re-rolling and recalculating the combat outcome gave us migraine and made combat long and tedious !
we roll only once and if you want to improve the score, you pay it in Gar tokens ... for example, if you have a weapon that does the following damage for the rolling outcome:
      3-5 low damage
      6-9 average damage
      10-12 some high damage
let's say you rolled 4 and that would deal some low damage amount, instead of re-rolling and recalculating it all again, you pay 2 gar tokens to go to the next level of your weapon damage, as if you rerolled 6-9, or 3 gars to go to max damage level ... 1 gar would be if you rolled let's say 2 and missed even the first damage level ...
We do this for anything that requires rolling dice!
Playing it this way game is very fast and people do not fall asleep waiting for their turn
