@@NinjaGeekGames same than you, with the theme and the dev, they expected a bigger game, we're big fans of Myrmes and they were expecting those type of puzzles :). From the same designer, they love Kronologic so I saved my friendship ;) :D

@alvideos2145 it's a fairly light game, but the dice rolling can be mitigated by your previous exploration and items

@Gamebent1 dungeon is the threat area and location you're at. You don't have to have minis and tiles to explore, it's the location you're at. Of course there's only a bunch of cards and tokens...it's a card game...

@@NinjaGeekGames Dungeon crawlers have exploration, and the good ones have tactics that depend on positioning. Simply having the setting in a dungeon does not make it a dungeon crawler. How is it "crawling" if you just have a location and you don't explore or even travel through the location?

@Gamebent1 you do explore...using tokens where each one requires a different amount and provides a different one. Just because it doesn't have expansive tiles, 100 minis and 40 dice doesn't mean it's not a dungeon crawler.

@MrGreeneyes77 co-op does work well, but solo shines. I've played 3 player - here threats build up very quickly and every round 1 player will be attacked by all of them. However, each of you can engage 1 enemy into your personal play area to mitigate this. There is table talk where you can use skills to support others etc.

FWIW, with 2 players is how we play-tested the game the most. :)

Nice one thanks for the overview, I'm digging the expansion. I've already being enjoying the base game for about a year now. People looking for a clever puzzly civ game with a lot of scope should stop complaining there are no good civ games out there and check this out.

Totally agree with you! In any top 10 video, a new viewer need to scans the list quickly first what is on the menu before rewatching their interested menu slowly. Sadly in this video, it is hard to do that. Putting the game title permanently on the bottom of each segment for example.

If you touch your screen whilst it's playing, 2 vertical bars appear - this is the pause icon...I know what you're thinking...you're welcome. In fact, you could even screen shot them, send them via email, print them at work and hang them in your home for your family...it'd be nice and they'd appreciate it. 3. If there are no new games that others have listed, it probably explains why they are on a hot list...these are the hot new games we're looking forward to. It's very likely that other creators have listed at least one of these. Interestingly, had I released my video before them, how would you have raised that question 🤔 4. Boring??? Well, I'm glad I'm at least incredibly good looking, so you have something nice to look at as you start to drift off.
