Nice!! Yeah let me know what you think of these new mechanics. I love the frostbite idea and the chill is another item to manage! Do you have a favorite scenario to play?
@@MeetMeAtTheTable that is great to hear! Would be fun if you tried out some of the later scenarios, it seems most youtubers covering the game only touch upon the first 2-3 scenarios which are pretty short and uneventful. Keep up the great work Colin!
Hi Colin, Thank you! I was very happy to hear you plan to make more Euthia content. If you will be able include the stuff from the previous kickstarter expansion that changes a bit the solo mode, that would be great. I’m really interested in the game and heard different and opposed opinions regarding the solo-play, and since that the main way i will play, I wish the see in live the options provided. Needless to say of course that any content of the game would be great!
Thanks for showing a playthrough. It reminds how I should crank out the core box I have for this. Such a cool RPG board game for solo play. I too love Gaar :)
Can't wait for this expansion! I love Euthia and I'm hopeful that you can use these tiles in an open world (non Scenario). I guess we will find out during the campaign
Expansion sure adds a lot of new concepts. I sure hope they upgrade the organization. Looking for a better way to store map tiles. Able to organize tiles by scenario, and solo. Same with all the components, simplify the grouping for each scenario. Pick the scenarios, grab any unique components, map tiles and play. Even a reference card for setup would be great.
I actually had a friend 3D print a much better storage solution with a file found online. It makes setup and teardown much faster, as everything has its specific place including the different card and token types, map tiles are separated by type and act, AND it is much more space efficient. I can store everything in two boxes without making a hodge podge mess of the components.
Solid playthrough and expansion. Thoroughly enjoyed. I'll defo be backing it. I think it would be good to see either a scenario with the Necromancer or the dwarf guy with the dwart die as you don't see much of him being played 👍🏻
I almost pulled the trigger on Euthia, I like the concept but I cancelled in the end. I don't think it would get to the table enough to justify the cost and almost feels like 'too much'.
I have the original and expansion for Euthia, my favorite game. Was just thinking, imagine a reskin of this as a Witcher themed game! That would be awesome. Play as Geralt, Yennefer, Ciri, Jaskier Triss, etc. It would all fit so easily.
Great video; thank you! I am so torn on this one. I have the option to pick up the base game (2nd hand) but don’t know whether to go all in and take the risk on it. It is definitely my sort of game but is so much money with VAT on top. Any thoughts on base game vs all-in for a new Euthia player? I appreciate any views are subjective…
I really lean towards going base only first. Make sure you enjoy it and there is PLENTY to explore! Then if you really enjoy it go for the expansions! That is my suggestion!!
@@MeetMeAtTheTable Sage advice I think. Do you know if there will be a late pledge available where I could maybe pick up the expansions? I know there normally is with KS games.
The deluxe all-in is so expensive! Looks good though, and again, fantastic video! Should point out i bought Mage Knight cause of your last video :) I can't see Euthia beating out Mage Knight, now that is an awesome game. If you had to pick between the two, which would it be? I realise they're not the same game. I also backed Homm3 which i'm looking forward too, which again seems quite similar.
For me Mage Knight is the way to go! I would recommend exhausting your plays of that before moving to this game! Thank you so very much for watching!! Hope you are enjoying mage knight!
How do you compare with Mage Knight? I have Mage Knight, and I feel this has more tokes, items, etc, which seems more tracking and set up. How would you compare it in terms of gameplay and differences? (A bit intimidated by the pilling up of boxes)
Such a good question! It has a similar feel on the board as Mage Knight, but the game here is not hand management. It is something completely different, with dice rolls and monster power cards. This has a TON more to track and not all of that is agood thing as I personally feel Mage Knight has enough to track (if you know what I mean!). I think the biggest boon of this game is that it playes very well competitively due to the other players controlling the monsters. For solo it is hard for me to choose this game over Mage Knight, but I am a sucker when it comes to hand management. That is my absolute favorite mechanic. Probably why I enjoy Primal and Mage Knight so much.
@@MeetMeAtTheTable Thank you for the detailed response. When playing solo, I prefer hand management. I feel that dice chucking is more fun in multiplayer.
Great play through. Did you try the first expansion, and have any thoughts on this new one vs that one? I may pull the trigger on this but, would only get one expansion at most. Or would you just go with the base game?
This is a hard one. You thinking mostly for solo play? I'd recommend trying the base to see if you like it. I haven't tried the fierce powers expansion but this one seems to add some serious complexity. I think this expansion works great for folks already familiar with the base. Hope that helps!!
@@MeetMeAtTheTable They sure do! lol Many thanks for showcasing the new expansion, Colin, just a pity you had to pass it on so was unable to finish the game. Hope you will do more Euthia!
I am definitely keen to try this expansion, as Euthia is such an interesting game. Thanks for sharing this.

Thanks for the playthrough that was fun. Super excited for this to come out so I can add it to the rest!
Yes!!! Thank you so much for watching!!
I really enjoy watching these playthrough videos since I'm buried in campaign backlogs so Euthia is one I've passed on.
Morgaknight great to hear from you!! I understand the feeling so many games so little time!!
Would you mind doing some more content with the regular Euthia again? Your playthroughs are by far the best I've seen for this game.
Planning on it!! Thanks so much for watching!!

Funny that this just hit here cause I was checking out your previous videos over at One Stop yesterday! Can't wait to check this one out.

I would only assume yes but you can ask on the KS page to be sure. But steamforge games usually does have late pledging!
Curious to know which channel you sent this copy over to after you were done with it.

Too bad they went the alternate content way instead of expanding the base game.
