Glad to see you and the car made it, pretty much unscathed. Happy to see the Impala going to a good home! I loved the "It's ugly, but it's a dream come true" quote. That car had been sitting in my parents garage since I was 8 years old (30 years 🤯). It was hard to make the decision to sell it, there is a lot of sentimental value attached to it. But it was time. My dad's favorite car is a 69 Nova or a 63 split window Corvette. Mine is a pair of 90 horse outboards for my old boat. Which is what I'll be doing with my portion of the $. Anyway, looking forward to seeing the updates. Good luck and enjoy!

I’m glad you found the video and commented! I was really nervous with the pics that I would see it in person and just be like nah.. I’ll pass. But when I saw it I was like.. we got this! I can’t thank you enough for working with me and giving me a day to get things all lined up! It was such a nerve racking drive home but a fun adventure to talk about now :) I hope I do the car justice and your family approves. You have a super nice family by the way!
Tell your dad I have lots of videos on my 71 nova haha. Go get those outboards!

My dream car was 53 Chevy sadan saved up for years like four I believe and three years ago I found one local that was semi customized for like 6 thousand talked to the guy after three hours got it for 4 thousand. It had Dayton's air bags and descent paint I was excited. Got it home and with five days I got it all torn down sold the air ride the rims and few extra pieces it came with and used that money to redo it got true spokes 520 tires hydraulics just a two pump set up had it repainted candy red flake you name it I did it 8 months of rebuilding and finally had it ready for the Detroit Woodward dream cruise. Then COVID happened time went on times got hard (even now) for the love of taking care of my family I sold it. For food diapers baby food bills. Now I can't even afford a car as a daily driver I walk everywhere and drive my mom's jeep. But family first just wish I could afford it again but maybe one day money's not too great these days living month to month but I'm happy I'm grateful and one day I'll own a dream car again.

One of my all-time favorite classic cars. And I like the turquoise w/ white interior. I live up in Washington, have all my life. Almost 3 years ago, I acquired a red/red '64 SS w/ 327 and Powerglide. And I swapped our it's original 250-horse motor for a remanufactured 327 w/ 330-horse and the 3.08 w/ a 3.36 plus limited slip posi. I'm debating whether or not I'm gonna pursue getting a Muncie 4-speed for it. But so far, I've been quoted $10 Grand bare minimum parts & labor, so I probably won't do it. The Powerglide is too good for me to want to go to a different automatic.

thats an ammeter gage. instead of 0 to 15 volts they read negative or positive depending on if the system is losing or gaining voltage form 12. Old school and cool but faded from use because they are a fire hazard. Have to run full car voltage through them which is large gage wire unfused.

Super nice find.....You have so many questions to answer in this video.....let's start with my answers. What car did wish I never sold was a 1969 RS/SS Camaro. I had many of these Chevys Two 1963's, Two 1964's, one 1965, one 1967, one1968. The same with Pontiac's. That radio has some type of reverb system it was an option on these cars to split the front and rear speakers yours is aftermarket. I do believe the factory one mounted just above the clock and said reverb with a slider. I think that was light in the rear consul as ashtrays should be in the rear arm rests. My dream car would have to be a 1965 Impala SS late production with a 325HP 396 and 4 speed.......I can't wait to see the progress on this one!!!! Well done Billy!!!!!!
