bought one in 68. when I was 18, traded in my 57 chev 1/2 ton pickup for down pmt. $45.00 a month, only mine was maroon, LOVED IT. tOTAL PRICE WAS $1250.00
Thanks for showcasing another wonderful old Chevy. My grandparents' neighbor took apart & fully restored his dad's red '64 Impala over a span of 5 years, & I got to watch the entire process while growing up; he ignited my love for classic cars & we have even entered our rides in a couple of shows side-by-side.
I'm glad to see one of these in mint original condition and not turned into a lowrider, donk or any of that nonsense. Kyle, I've been hanging around your channel for quite a few years now. Keep up the great work and love the variety. Greetings from Mexico.
This is like the one I used to have. Finally one that's not an SS. Mine was Navy blue, but no fender skirts. Seems like it had the 283 rather than the 327 though. It had that blue tint across the top of the windshield. Sure loved that car.
Jamie garcia nice bro we gotta keep em alive I got a cammed 350 in mine but do have the original motor being an SS I wanna keep it original so ill be rebuilding the 283 ASAP
My dad pulled up with an all black 64 impala sport coupe just like this one only, minus the skirts and a 283. couldn't drive it till 67 but I beat everyone in my class, even a 68 charger 318. It had 111,000 miles on it when I was racing it. I'll never forget that car.
@@ChevyboyCaprice_ Saw one looking like a Barn find yesterday out here in Tucson AZ. They are quite common out this way, guess it has to do with being close to California. 🤷♂️
Love seeing the impalas like this. stock and no gang banger nonsense with hydraulic and air ride systems. Just messing up the car. this however is really beautiful.
Call me weird... And I am... But I love the sound of a classic car horn, like on this one. My grandfather had a 62 SS that was red and white. Amazing cars and impalas are wonderful cars.
I have shown clips of your videos in so many of my projects for school because of your attention to detail in these classic car videos :) keep up what your doing man :)
my dream car: 1964 Impala wagon, black on black, with a 4-speed straight 6. I would never need anything else. also, great review! exaust camera view was a bit choppy, but still great! can't wait for the next review!
Yeah, if I don't wanna know about an old Impala then I just won't clic on the video, as simple as that.. Anyway, thanks for all the time you take to make these videos, we really appreciate!
Thank u saabkyle04 for uploading these videos i know how hard it must be to even find these cars so i appreciate it . i always tell my friends to check out your channel , so half of your subscribers are my friends , lol :P .. take care
Beautiful model 2 Dr. hardtop, very detailed interior unlike today, plenty of room , biggest drawback was the 2 speed Powerglide, other GM's of this era had 3 speed and some 4 speed automatics, and larger displacement V8's. Those AM radios of this era were not to good they would develop an annoying scratching sound at the volume knob, due to wear of a plastic sleeve on the shaft, nice touch with this radio looks like a Custom Auto Sound Model. Had a 63 Impala SS Conv.and 63 Nova SS.
That's REALY about 300 HP because of the net rating in those days.,same car my grandpa drove me to school in years ago, don't hit your head on the dash ,it's solid steel ! Key can be removed from ignition when car is running..seatbelts were a option until 68' so it's surprising to see it on this 64'. Very nice time machine, go review the white corvette that's in the beginning of the movie :-)
So awesome, Kyle! I have a Corvette body shop up the block from me and one of these has been sitting in the lot for months now. I keep wanting to ask for it, but whenever I have the time, they're closed for the day! Gotta find the time one of these days!
Kyle, soon you will have Jay Leno flying you over to Los Angeles to do SAABKYLE04 review of his collection... and so, top collectors across the globe will follow...
I love cars like these. You don't buy them because they're fast. You don't buy them because they have a good ride, nor because they get good gas mileage. You buy them because they are PIMPIN!
I believe the engine is a 300HP 327 with those rocker covers and the flags on the side of the car. Also, a 'diamond' on the cylinder heads designated the 300HP version.
Hey kyle, how about getting one of those retro style radio for your fairlane. You could still listen to your music and it wont ruin the integrity of the car.
Only things I'd change about this beautiful car are putting a modern stereo system and maybe some power locks in. Everything else is just perfect and I REALLY want to get one once I graduate from college and (hopefully) get a job
Hi! I really enjoy your videos! A truly great channel for fans of good wheels! It would be great if you could make a video with a 67 Chevy Impala! Cheers!

car is a work of art
We had the wagon in the 64 model, 283, V8. This color. 8 kids to shuttle around. I knew it was a nice ride.

This might be a dumb question but what is the difference with the SS
I have a 64 factory 283 2 spd powerglide myself, thanks for making this informative video so I can geek out for a minute lol

The 94-96 impala looked badass 🤦♂️
Building my 64 and this blue on blue setup is so awesome... I going to with custom blend of silver and house of kolors blue... cant wait ...

Love that V-8 exhaust note. Nothin' like it!
When they restored that Impala was there a way to get rid of the farts lodged in the seats?
I think they used tennis rackets and beat the seats.
I like your detailed commentary 👍🏽
What a beautiful car. I would love to get one in the future.
