The legality of this arbitrary stop & detain order by the Chinese CG is questionable given that China's claims have been invalidated by an international arbitral court.
I believe that the Chinese CCG personnel will probably only arrest fishermen who are unable to defend themselves in a fight. However, given that the Chinese are not known for being mentally and physically tough, I doubt that they would have the courage to engage in combat with local fishermen who are fighting to survive.
