First time since 2014, brought back before after a break during the 2011-2013 tour. Bit of a dodgy start of the video, gets better after a minute, so hold on. There was a bit of a situation in the crowd at that point, and it's hard to see the focus from that distance. With unique 'Pretty Visitors' sequencing in between 'Arabella' and 'My Propeller'.

The Gibson SG actually sounds really weird for this song, to my ears! Humbug is such a Jazzmaster heavy album. That sort of "warble" and "jangly" tone on the record. So much of that is Alex's Jazzmaster. Guitars aren't always super important for sound, but Arctic Monkeys first 3 albums are so heavily based on single coil Fender guitars. Hopefully he gets to playing that JM more again like he used to!

He likes doing that Bowie-esque vibrato these days. Dragging the words a bit is the natural consequence of the oscillation. Sounds better to me tbh but to each their own!

I was there in San Diego, you must have mixed it up with some other song. 'My Propeller' wasn't played at any point during the previous tour.
