He changes his style just to properly express the mood of the recent album ( although each am fan has his/her own favorite Alex’s hairstyle and considers it to be the only one legit). I personally think Alex is amazing and we do not deserve him:) not with all of those disappointed comments about his looks, about the new album, etc

The whole album has a clear crisp sound and a new sheen of consume professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. Alex has been compared to Julian Casablanca, but I think Alex has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humour. In '13, the Arctic Monkeys released this; AM, their most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is this, Do I Wanna Know?, a song so catchy. Most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should! Because it's not just about the pleasures of having a lover, or the importance of hope but its also a personal statement about the band itself. Hey Miles!

The effect on Alex's guitar was shit, not the same as the album version of knee socks, and It didn't sound cool as the riff should sound.
