I looked into both of these prior to purchase, and both were impressive, even when compared to other manufacturers' products. I settled on the Copper Spur HV UL2, but took it a step further and bought the Bikepacker version. The tentpole segments are a little shorter, which allows me to carry inside my packs.
I have an older copper spur ul3 tent and bought the rainfly. Everything included it came to an even 4.0 lbs (poles, tent, fly, rainfly, stakes) although probably heavier now because I now always replace stakes with heavier duty stakes.

You should capture a video of your biking / camping trips - would be cool to see the bikepacking version in action.
I've been looking at the Big Agnes Copper Spur. Is this tent really only 3.8 lbs, even though it's a 3-person?
Yep, it's both ultra-light and pretty spacious!
